Criswell Chevrolet’s Mike Furman delivers new Corvettes to his customers who come from all across the country to work with the nation’s top individual Corvette seller.
Good news as the assembly plant restarted this week but it will still take a few weeks before dealers start receiving new Corvettes to deliver to customers. So as we wait, Mike takes us for a stroll around the 12 colors of the 2020 Corvettes. Mike also shows the inspiration he had for his Silver/Two-Tone Blue C8 Corvette, and as always, check out the great collection of vintage and throwback photos for your scrolling pleasure!

~I would say the #1 description I hear from current C8 owners is that people just gawk with their mouth open as they drive by. I’ve experienced that myself. Only 2,741 C8’s were produced before the plant reopened on May 26th. Last night I took my Corvette out for curbside pickup and it was a perfect night out for a ride. I tried social distancing while driving as people tend to stare and attempt pictures which is incredibly unsafe to me. Texting while driving must be the greatest cause of accidents these days. I’ve driven many sports cars and nothing gets the reaction on the road like the 8th generation Corvette.
~I was interviewed for a Cigar Aficionado magazine article this past month and the link was just sent to me to share.
*Per the CorvetteBlogger in his Saturday Quick Shifts article…
"Of course, the first article that we have for you this week comes courtesy of CigarAficionado.com. These first-time contributors to Quick Shifts have an outstanding feature on our guy, the #1 individual Corvette salesman… in the world, Mike Furman! It is an interesting read that, as noted by the author, starts off sounding like a Dos Equis commercial. Unsurprising to anyone who watched The Last Dance, the last person detailed/interviewed by Cigar Aficionado was Michael Jordan, pretty great company for Mr. Furman! Read all about The Legend of Mr. Corvette."

If you wonder how I choose my own color combo’s …I have always looked back at the 2nd generation for my favorite exterior/interior choices. I was dead set on ordering Elkhart Lake Blue with Cool gray interior(which looks white) until my friend Jim B. and I first viewed Blade Silver with the Tension Blue/Twilight Blue interior at Carlisle. I literally changed my mind in an instant. That C8 sitting in the GM tent at Carlisle reminded me of the Richard Prince photo seen below.
~Speaking of colors…here is one picture of each color for 2020 model year Corvettes.
Torch Red
Ceramic Matrix Gray Metallic
Rapid Blue
Zeus Bronze metallic
Long Beach Red metallic
Shadow Gray metallic
Sebring Orange metallic
Arctic White
Black
Elkhart Lake Blue metallic
Accelerate Yellow
Blade Silver
For the 2021 model year, Long Beach Red will be replaced by Red Mist tintcoat and Blade Silver will be replaced by Silver flare metallic.

I feel kind of sorry for today’s astronauts.
The cool factor of a 4-door Tesla just ain’t there.
Many Great Photos to choose from. My favorite was the Kendal Motor Oil “Wellington Auto Shop” with the Country Girl standing behind the Corvette
