Some say the best photoshops are those that are somewhat based in reality. The reality is that when you see this “Hennessey HPE2000 Corvette Stingray drag car” for the first time, you may think it’s real. After all, Hennessey Performance Engineering has made a name for themselves not only bring more and more horsepower to the Corvette Stingray, but also with their radical Venom GT program as well.
But alas, this is just a photoshop, “created for competition” says the note that goes along with the posting by RC82 WORKCHOP on Facebook.

Chevrolet has yet to start retail production of the 650 horsepower C7 Corvette Z06 but that doesn’t mean we can’t speculate about future Corvettes. In case you’ve been living under a rock or were quarantined with some type of communicable disease, the latest rumor is that Chevrolet is working on a mid-engine Corvette named after its first chief Engineer Zora Arkus-Duntov.

The Florida-based Corvette specialist currently offers wide body and performance upgrade kits for all C6 models, including the coupe, convertible, Z06, Grand Sport, and ZR1, and hoods, spoilers, and body kits for C5s.
The 2015 Corvette Z06 made its debut last week at the North American International Auto Show and one of the exciting new features on the new super car is that this will be the first Corvette Z06 with a removable roof panel. But that hasn’t stopped rumors of a full-on convertible Z06.
