[PIC] 2025 Corvette ZR1 Rendering by Peter Chilelli

With the C8 Corvette ZR1s in the news following their sighting in Warren, MI this week, our friend Peter Chilelli of Fast Pixels offers us this glimpse of what could be hiding under the 2025 Corvette ZR1’s black cladding and vinyl wrap.

Peter’s renderings are always a mix of the truth and what the future might hold. Will we eventually see some of the design elements of the Z06 GT3R integrated into the higher performance Corvettes? Think about how the Z06 GT3R was probably the most recent C8 variant to be heavily tested in a wind tunnel. Lessons learned there could be included in updates on future products via the tried-and-true track to street technology transfer.

This week’s ZR1 spy pics appear to show subtle differences from the widebody Z06/E-Ray with a change to the front fascia and the wheels However, we know that GM takes a certain pride in using their camouflage to hide changes and throw off those looking too closely, but we can’t help but to wonder if there will finally be an update to the frunk/front area.

In that vein of thought, you’ll see how Peter pulled in the design element of the air extractor from the Z06 GT3.R on the front end, while the center of the car’s front fascia has also been reworked. It’s a car that if coming at you that could easily be identified as the ZR1 despite wearing the same rear carbon fiber high wing as the Z06.

  1. It should have a distinctive front fascia. Should have a different wing than the Z07. The wheels of this drawing are not close enough to those of the cladded car which are the same as the one photographed a year ago that was thought to be a ZR1. I really hope the ZR1 becomes more distinctive than add on parts.

  2. Not a bad start. That hood vent on the GT3.R was intended for the centrally mounted heat exchangers. This said, an application for such a ducting arrangement is if the engine & transaxle fluid heat exchangers went up front to the center to allow the aft door scoops to accomodate the turbo intercoolers. Just a theory.

Not bad work; this is one of the more functional renderings out there. Regards to the artist!

  3. Looks great…if that’s really what it will look like. I like the hood, front end and the wheels which look better than that shit that was in that other article on here about the ZR1 wheel.

  4. That hood is just like the Ferrari Pista!!! I love it, this is sooo sexy. I like the way Corvette is impregnating Ferrari looks totally Amazing…
