Detroit Autorama takes place each year in early March. For those of us up here in the snowy Midwest, it’s the first sign that winter may actually be over and that car show season is in the near future. 2014 marked the 62nd edition of the massive indoor custom car show. [PIC] This is Possibly the Greatest Corvette GIF Ever

From our Corvette Image Tumblr, we came across this Corvette Z06 chasing a rider on a Triumph motorcycle. The Corvette Z06 is an actual police car used by the Wake County Sheriffs office in North Carolina.

The GIF comes from a segment on Top Gear USA featuring Tanner Faust in the Z06 racing the street bike through an obstacle course. Click here to watch the full video on our Facebook page.

[VIDEO] The First of Eight Corvettes is Rescued from the Corvette Museum's Sinkhole

This morning at the National Corvette Museum, construction workers successfully lifted the first of the eight fallen Corvettes from the massive sinkhole that opened inside the Sky Dome last month. The first Corvette to make it back to street level was the 2009 Corvette ZR1 Blue Devil which had landed upright on top of the pile.

The National Corvette Museum issued another update regarding the Sinkhole in the Sky Dome yesterday and the good news is that we may see the first three Corvettes extracted from the hole as early as next week.

Corvette Museum Hires Contractor to Help Recover Corvettes Lost in Sinkhole

After experts determined that the exhibit hall at the National Corvette Museum is still safe for visitors, museum officials have retained a Bowling Green contractor to help them deal with the aftermath of a sinkhole that swallowed eight cars in the Skydome early Wednesday morning.

Scott, Murphy and Daniel will help come up with a plan to try and recover the historic Corvettes, estimated to be worth at least a million dollars, and rebuild the damaged portion of the museum, according to Museum Executive Director Wendell Strode.

These are the Eight Corvettes that Fell into the Corvette Museum's Sinkhole

The news that a huge 40 foot wide sinkhole opening up under the National Corvette Museum has shocked many of us. After watching much of the activity and videos from the Museum yesterday via social media and webcams, we thought it appropriate to now take a closer look at those eight Corvettes which fell into the cavern under the gold skydome.
