Earlier this month we learned about the requirements for Chevrolet Dealerships to sell the C8 Mid-Engine Corvette.
As a quick recap, dealers must complete required sales and service training, send a sales specialist to Spring Mountain, and purchase specific tools required to service the next-generation Corvette.

Since 2012, the Bartlett (Tenn.) Police Department has been driving a Corvette confiscated from a drug offender to local schools to let youngsters know about the dangers of illegal drug use.
The department has been using the 1999 Corvette as its DARE (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) vehicle for the past seven years but now has the vehicle up for sale on govdeals.com.

Looking at the calendar we see that the reveal of the next generation Corvette is just 2 months away now. With that, the speculation of where in Orange County the reveal will take place continues to grow. Along with that comes the expectation of new high-tech options and gadgetry. But what color will the car be?

In addition to the four 2019 Corvette Grand Sports that will serve as official pace cars to the 103rd Indianapolis 500 this Sunday, there is also a batch of matching Indy 500 2019 Corvette Stingray Convertibles that have been running around Indianapolis since the beginning of May.

We like to joke about the multiple sightings of the C8 Corvette prototypes that have been spotted at McDonald’s over the years. Our very first glimpse of the C8 Corvette in public came when the development team visited the fast-food restaurant in Cadillac, MI. in October 2017, and there have been several sightings of C8s at a McDonald’s since then.
For years now, we’ve worried about the next generation Corvette.
