Will you help the Jeff Gordon Children’s Foundation reach its goal of raising $1 million for the third year in a row to help kids battling cancer?
It’s all part of the Foundation’s 2019 Corvette Program, Corvette for a Cure.
To raise funds for the Foundation, Gordon is again raffling off his personal Corvette, a loaded 2019 Grand Sport Coupe that listed for $80,305.
Performance-wise, the car boasts an aluminum 6.2-liter LT1 engine that produces 460 horsepower and 465 lb-ft of torque and rips from 0-60 in 3.6 seconds, hooked to a 7-speed manual transmission with Active Rev Matching. It also includes the Grand Sport Performance Package with performance suspension, magnetic ride control, slotted brake rotors, electronic limited slip differential, black aluminum wheels, summer only run-flat tires, rear differential cooler, performance exhaust, performance gear ratios, and dry sump oil system.
The 2LT-equipped Corvette features Watkins Glen Grey Metallic paint with Torch Red fender hash marks, on top of a Jet Black interior, and includes heated/ventilated seats, head-up display, seat badges, curb view front cameras, carbon flash painted ground effects package, performance data & video recorder with navigation, body color exterior vents, carbon fiber interior package, Grand Sport Heritage Package, custom red seatbelts, removable carbon fiber roof panel painted Watkins Glen Grey Metallic, carbon fiber hood, rear spoiler, front splitter, side rocker extensions, red calipers, and carbon flash badge package.
Don’t worry about paying taxes if you were to be the lucky winner, too. Gordon will pay the taxes on all prizes, and he’ll personally greet the winner in Charlotte, N.C., ahead of the race this fall and sign the title and hand over the keys during the annual Corvette For a Cure Celebration event to which all program ticket purchasers are invited.
Tickets are already on sale now, and the earlier you act, the more chances you have to win. Tickets sold May 19-June 1 are eligible for the Corvette drawing and two $5,000 cash drawings. Tickets sold June 2-15 are eligible for the Corvette drawing and one $5,000 cash drawing. Tickets sold June 16-July 1 are eligible for the Corvette drawing.
Over the past 13 years, the Corvette program has raised nearly $8 million for pediatric cancer research and helped open the Jeff Gordon Children’s Hospital and the Butaro Cancer Center of Excellence.
