[AUDIO] Corvette and Collector Car Insurance with Adam Boca on the Corvette Today Podcast

Once of the smartest things I ever did with my 1966 Corvette was to move my insurance policy from State Farm to the NCM Insurance Agency as it’s better insurance at a better price. Best of all, it’s an agreed value policy. Ten years ago Adam Boca was tasked with starting the Corvette Museum’s in-house collector car insurance agency and under his care, it has grown to have multiple agents as well as their own cool offices inside the NCM.

Those that know Adam are quick to call him a friend and he has some great stories from working during the early days of the NCM. He’s also the first guy to go running to help fellow car enthusiasts, something I’ve witnessed first hand. Adam is this week’s featured guest on the CORVETTE TODAY Podcast with host Steve Garrett and this should be a lively conversation.

[ACCIDENT] C8 Corvette Falls Off the Lift at a Chevy Dealership

It was just about a month ago that CorvetteBlogger contributor Jeremy Welborn offered up this video on the proper jack and lift points for the 2020 Corvette after witnessing a video showing the C8 Corvette that was lifted in the wrong place. Because the weight distribution is now 40/60 with the engine behind the driver, you have to have the jack or lift mounted to the chassis locations properly or the unthinkable could happen as the lift is raised.

This ’63 Corvette packed with “luxury” options was cool when such boulevard cruisers weren’t so cool … literally.

It’s hard to believe now, but 57 years ago, air conditioning wasn’t quite so ubiquitous as it is nowadays.

There seems to be a sizable surplus of very talented photoshoppers with too much time on their hands right now, for some reason. Multiple times a day my Google feed is bombarded by ‘shopped vehicles of two flavors; misshapen mid-engine “what-ifs” and face-swapped C8 Corvettes.

One of these pictures recently posted to autoevolution, the chief purveyor of vehicular photoshops on the net, really caught the eyes of the CorvetteBloggers and kickstarted our imaginations. It is a C8 that has been skillfully transformed into a reborn Cadillac XLR.

The first-ever virtual NCM Bash kicked off this morning from the National Corvette Museum and so far we’ve seen the Museum Staff put together a fun and informative set of presentations and seminars.

One of the highlights of any NCM Bash is the update from the Corvette Assembly Plant Manager and Kai Spande is known for sharing the latest production news from the plant. The video of his presentation is only available through the Corvette Museum, so we watched it this afternoon and bring you these highlights.
