A lot of us long-time enthusiasts were slow to show up for the “black wheel” party. I must admit growing up in the ’60s and ’70s, black wheels were reserved for the “bargain basement” cars like the Biscayne so I thought they made a car look cheap, unlike the much fancier chrome wheels of the day.

Get excited, Corvette fans! One of the best car shows on the net, Jason Cammisa’s Ultimate Drag Race Replay from Hagerty, is back! Episode 12 is here, and Jason scored early access to a 2024 Corvette E-Ray. Like everyone else on the planet, Hagerty’s host is intrigued by the first-ever hybrid AWD ‘Vette, but unlike anyone else, he has one to test. Of course, the question on his and everyone’s mind is exactly how quick this Corvette of firsts is. On the long straight of Cammisa’s favorite sandbox, Willow Springs raceway, he wrangled a trifecta of yardsticks to measure the newest limb of the Crossed Flag family tree.

If you’re one of those Corvette owners who can’t stop looking at the gap of space between your wheel arches and your tires, Chevrolet does provide a way to lower that stance and make your Corvette look more aggressive. To show you how to do it yourself for free, we got the perfect Do-It-Yourself video from fellow Corvette Z06 owner Jesse Iwuji.

There’s not many times I have set an alarm for a NASCAR race, but this Sunday is one of those races and it should be a lot of fun to watch. Normally, you would find Chase Elliot driving the No. 9 Chevrolet for Hendrick Motorsports, but a snowboarding accident several weeks ago left him with a broken leg, so Corvette Racing’s Jordan Taylor was asked to fill in when the series visits the road course at COTA.

This Sunday will be Jordan’s first NASCAR race and it happens at Circuit of the Americas where he’s won two out of four IMSA races. We can imagine all the things that he’s been doing to prepare. However, setting up a new voice mail message wasn’t something we were expecting. You can see it here:

Here’s another one of those ultra-low-mileage C3 Corvettes that offer a dilemma to a new owner.

Do you continue to hide it in a cocoon, or do you finally unleash that L82 engine and let the horses run?

Today was supposed to be the start of another Z06 order cycle, and we know that dealers were anticipating something following the recent memo about the final customer orders for the Z06 need to be submitted by April 5th. But unfortunately, it’s the same bad news as last month…zero allocations nationwide.

If you’ve been frustrated with Corvette production snags, parts shortages, ordering hang-ups, and the excessive demand that have come to define this generation, you aren’t alone. If you live in the Americas, you should also take a moment to count your blessings. Back in 2019, one of the highlights of the C8 introduction was the model’s first-ever offering of right-hand drive. Now that the calendar reads 2023, the RHD Stingray has finally been made widely available across the pond.

Our friends at Evo found it odd to call their Torch Red test car “new” as they had driven one pre-pandemic, but, at long last, they had one on their home turf, with the steering wheel on their preferred side of the cockpit. If you follow Evo from the new world, you know two things; they have a long-running relationship with the 1.55-mile Anglesey Circuit, so their “leaderboard” is a treasure trove of lap-time info, and these slide-happy Brits are FUN to watch behind the wheel!
