With production of the 2027 Corvette model year finally getting under way last week, Chevrolet continues to tweak the Corvette Order Guide with new updates, clarifications, and for a couple of stripes this week, deletions.
This week’s distribution update to the Order Guide shows that Chevrolet will be removing the Edge Blue Full Length Dual Racing Stripes (DUW) from all models except the Corvette ZR1/ZR1X:
• Stingray Exterior section-Deleted (DUW) Edge Blue Full Length Dual Racing Stripes.
• Grand Sport Exterior section-Deleted (DUW) Edge Blue Full Length Dual Racing Stripes.
• Z06 Exterior section-Deleted (DUW) Edge Blue Full Length Dual Racing Stripes.
• ZR1 and ZR1X Exterior section-Deleted (DTB) Electric Blue Full Length Dual Racing Stripes.
Chevrolet is also deleting the Electric Blue Full Length Dual Racing Stripes (DTB) from the Corvette ZR1/ZR1X. This stripe was previously only available on the hybrid AWD E-Ray and ZR1X models.
We confirmed with the Order Guide that the Edge Blue (DUW) Stripes are still listed as available for the 2027 Corvette ZR1 and ZR1X. That means that buyers will still be able to replicate the Black 2026 Coupe show car with the Edge Blue racing stripes matching the Edge Blue alloy wheels. However, the seat belts today are offered in Santorini Blue.
We didn’t see it at the NCM Bash, but we’ve finally got our first look at the upcoming Asymmetrical Blue package that is available on the 2027s. While the interior was a known factor with it being the Santorini Blue interior first introduced last year, Chevy has finally revealed the stripe via its Build and Buy Configurator.
The new Asymmetrical Royal Blue/Carbon Flash Full Length Dual Racing Stripes can be ordered with or without the Asymmetrical Blue interior. This new “Royal Blue” stripe is the featured color over the outgoing Edge Blue or Electric Blue stripes. It must be said that the Configurator is notoriously bad for replicating colors, so give these configurator pics a bit of latitude as to what this stripe will look like under the sun.
I really wish I could see the stripe first before passing judgement, but I’m not so sure about that the color shift to a Royal Purple was needed. Chevy just introduced an “Admiral Blue” stripe for the Grand Sports that would have worked perfectly with the Santorini Blue seat in the Asymmetrical package.
What are your thoughts on the new Royal Blue stripe or the deletion of the Edge Blue and Electric Blue stripes for most 2027 models? Let us know in the comments as always!

Why can’t they put all models up on the configurator? Bring back 10 of the programmers they fired.
The asymmetrical stripes look like someone on the line was taking a nap.
Seats look like a build sheet mix-up.
I guess I’m just not a fan.
No “Ricky racer” stuff…. please….
Keith, It appears you need to talk to Rick (Super-Sleuth Detective) Conti and put him on the case! He’s pretty good at stealth photos at the plant!
