The latest sales report from General Motors hit the wires today, and we’re looking at it as a positive improvement to end the year. GM’s fourth quarter 2025 sales for Corvette improved to 6,815 Corvettes delivered during the quarter. 4th Quarter’s deliveries were the highest of year and it broke a streak of five consecutive quarters in which the delivery number declined from the previous quarter.

In 3rd Quarter 2025 the total was just 5,123 new Corvettes, so this was a 28.3% improvement over last quarter. Despite that good news, 4th Quarter 2025’s 6,815 total was still a 10.6% decline from 4th Quarter 2024s total of 7,619.

For the 2025 calendar year to date, Chevrolet delivered 24,533 new Corvettes in the United States, which was 26.4% decline from 2024’s 33,330 new Corvettes delivered.

As sales during much of 3rd Quarter 2025 were impacted by the Stop Sale order on the Z06s, we can probably attribute much of the increase in 4th quarter sales to those forced to delay the delivery of their Z06s into October when the order was lifted. 4th Quarter sales also benefitted with having a new $4,000 Loyalty rebate hit dealers on December 2nd, and we saw during that time over 500 remaining 2025s were delivered before the end of the year.

And finally, 4th Quarter is when we finally saw the first deliveries of the new 2026 ZR1s to customers.

We are now moving into the 1st Quarter and we anticipate the sales climate to remain a buyers market. We’ve heard some rumors of another plant closure within the next few months, but we also have the pending arrival of the ZR1X, as well as the new Stars and Steel Collection which should add another 250 guaranteed sales to the bottom line. However, I’m betting those deliveries will probably fall into 2nd Quarter 2026.

These delivery numbers are for U.S. sales only.

Our Corvette Sales Archives will be updated in April 2026 with the release of GM’s official 2nd Quarter 2026 sales numbers.

4th Quarter 2025 GM Sales

DETROIT — General Motors led the U.S. auto industry in sales in 2025, reporting a 6% increase for the full year, with growth across multiple areas of GM’s portfolio.

GM is America’s full-size pickup leader for the 6th straight year, with the Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra recording their best combined sales in 20 years. GM led the full-size SUV market for the 51st consecutive year. GM was the industry’s #2 EV seller in 2025.

All four GM brands grew in 2025. GMC set a new sales record for the second consecutive year. Cadillac sales were the best in a decade. Chevrolet’s lineup of SUVs had their best sales ever. And Buick was one of the industry’s fastest-growing mainstream brands.

Sales in the fourth quarter declined 7% compared to the same period in 2024.

Other U.S. sales highlights include:

  • In 2025, GM sold nearly 700,000 Chevrolet and Buick models with starting prices below $30,000.
  • GM grew sales with incentives lower than the industry average.
  • GM Envolve sales to fleet & commercial customers grew 8% in 2025.
“Demand for our brands and products is strong at every price point, and we are well‑positioned to build on this momentum in the year ahead,” said Duncan Aldred, GM senior VP and president of North America.

  1. Let’s hope GM makes enough ZR1s and ZR1Xs so that ADMs are eliminated and the corporation gets more margin through increased sales.
