Chevrolet is as American as Baseball, Hot Dogs, and Apple Pie, so it’s no surprise that they are going all in on celebrating the 250th Anniversary of the United States in 2026! With that milestone nearly upon us, Chevrolet is officially introducing the “Stars & Steel Collection” – a patriotic special edition package that will be offered on a number of 2026 Chevrolets including Corvette, Silverado, and Colorado.

The highlight from the package includes use of modernized design elements of the American flag. In curating this “Stars & Steel” Collection, Chevrolet’s designers created specific interior and exterior appearance packages for five Chevrolet models that includes the entire C8 Corvette lineup, plus the Silverado EV, Silverado LD, Silverado HD, and Colorado. For each “Stars & Steel” edition sold, GM will donate $250 to nonprofits that support veterans groups.

Chevrolet’s Stars & Steel Limited Edition Package for the Corvette will be exclusive to just 250 units across all 2026 models from Stingray through ZR1X. The package comes in two different colors, Arctic White with Santorini Blue Interior, or Black with an Adrenaline Red interior. The packages will be restricted to 3LT/3LZ trim packages and are available on both the Coupe or Convertible.

The graphics package features what we find to be a really attractive Satin Silver or Satin Black full length racing stripes. On the frunk hood we see both stars and stripes from the American flag with the Stripes running over the length of the cars. On the doors is a small “250” flag graphic. For cars with rear wings, we are seeing a red “250” graphic on the end caps.

Speaking of Red, we love how they used Red as the package’s featured “highlight” color. The package offers Red Brake Calipers, Red Seat Belts, Floor Mats with Red Stitching, and Edge Red Engine Covers on select models.

Each of the 250 Stars & Steel Corvettes will have an interior plaque featuring its unique build sequence number, and the limited edition will also have unique sill plates. Depending on the model, the package will feature Gloss Black or Carbon Flash Wheels, while Carbon Fiber Wheels are also an option if available. And finally, each will have Black Exhaust Tips and select accessories by model.

Chevrolet says that production of the Stars & Steel Collection is expected to begin in “early Spring 2026,” and package pricing will come later.

  1. Kind of surprised they’re offered in black. Would have made more sense to offer 100 in Torch Red, 100 in White, and 50 in Blue.

  2. Surprised that they are not silver or grey to represent “steel”.
Slightly ironic that the Corvette is not steel.

  3. Reminds me of the 70s when car companies were trying to sell cars by adding funky spoilers, weird stripes, and red white and blue paint schemes. I don’t care if my car is 1 of 200. Just make better quality and more affordable cars.

  4. Another paint and decal “special” option that you will pay too much for and be forgotten in a year. Can’t wait to see what other special options GM comes up with for Corvette’s 75th anniversary in 2028.
