The C8 Corvette Z06 Convertible is already a fantastic sports car straight from the factory, but for many owners it’s only the starting point. One of our favorite saying over the years is about modding your car. As we like to say, a new Corvette is a blank canvas just waiting for its owner to make it his masterpiece.

Our friends over a HorsePower Obsessed feel the same, and today they helping an owner named Rudy by adding multiple mods on his Sea Wolf Gray C8 Z06 Convertible. The goal is to lower the car, improve its aesthetics, and enhance its performance. They will tackle several modifications on this mod day, including:

  • Lowering the car
  • Installing a new splitter
  • Adding a carbon flash diffuser
  • Applying Scrape Armor Grille Guards
  • Installing Paragon wheel spacers

  1. Might as well buy those new splitters in quantity if your going to lower the car even more than stock and actually still drive it on the street. Carbon fiber isn’t repairable like ABS or fiberglass unless you are going to paint it after a repair.

  2. With the lowering and the wheel spacers are the tires going to rub now while driving over bumps in the road?
