Barrett-Jackson’s Fall 2025 Scottsdale event will take place Wednesday, October 15 through Saturday, October 18th at Westworld in Scottdale, Arizona. Approximately 50 Corvettes are currently consigned to the docket. Among those is this stunning 1963 Restomod coupe built by noted customizer, Jeff Hayes.

We’ve seen many of Hayes’ brilliant builds over the years and the only thing more stunning that the cars themselves has been the stunning bids they continue to elicit. Over the last couple of years, we’ve seen multiple cars of his sell for over $1 million.

This 1963 Split Window Coupe is finished in the striking combination of silver over a red leather interior. It sits on a custom-built chassis and power comes from a 500hp crate LS3 mounted to an automatic transmission. Chrome Z06 wheels and side exhaust complete the muscular stance of this C2.

Jeff Hayes’ keen attention to detail can be seen throughout the build and it features many upgrades we’ve become accustomed to. Inside you’ll find AutoMeter gauges, tilt steering, power windows, air conditioning, AMFM radio, a power hood, and more.

The videos below give us a closer look at this great looking Sting Ray. First, we hear from Craig Jackson as he does a short walkaround and then Tyler Hoover and April Rose take the car out for ride. Here, we really get a feel for how great this Corvette really is.

For a closer look at this Corvette or any of the others crossing the block in Scottsdale next weekend, head over to Barrett-Jackson.com. The entire auction will be shown on Barrett-Jackson’s live stream. FYI will have live TV coverage Thursday from 1pm-7pm and Friday from 1pm-8pm. The History Channel picks up coverage on Saturday from 1pm-8pm. All times are Pacific time zone.

  1. I have one of these JH restomods, a ’67 built the year before this one, curious where the used market is on these. I’ve really enjoyed mine and I drive it often and I have no intention of selling it, but its interesting to see one come up for sale.

  2. Hey there, In case you’re keeping score on these Mega-Priced Corvettes – this 1963 Custom Corvette Coupe was sold on Saturday, at a high bid of $300,000 (three hundred thousand dollars) plus a $30,000 buyer commission of 10% to Mr. Craig Jackson for a new total of $330,000 for basically new paint, new interior, a crate LS3 engine, and a stock original Corvette Split Window body from St. Louis, with new parts from Corvette Central’s catalog. And old Z06 chromed wheels!

I was hoping this particular Corvette would have sold for no more than about $75,000 with no reserve allowed by Mr. Jackson as in January, 2026 at Scottsdale, Jeff Hayes has two more Corvettes to sell which look just like the other renovated cars he has sold at B-J Auctions. Nothing special, same LS3 engine, but expensive paint and leather inside!

This auction had low buyer bids for alot of very expensive sports cars so perhaps we can afford to buy nice classic Corvettes soon.
