[VIDEO] Watch This Jeff Hayes Custom 1967 Corvette Restomod Sell for $1.1 Million at Barrett-Jackson

A little over a week ago we featured the sale of this 1967 Corvette Sting Ray Convertible Restomod at Barrett-Jackson’s Scottsdale 2024 auction. Built by renowned restomod builder Jeff Hayes, the Corvette would hammer sold for $1 million, and with the buyer’s commission, the total selling price was $1.1 million. Following the sale, the announcers said it was a record auction price for a custom 1967 Corvette.

Jeff Hayes was on the stage during the sale, and he’s asked if in his wildest dreams did he see THIS happening at Barrett-Jackson, and he simply said, “Amazing!”

At the time we wrote the story, Barrett-Jackson had yet to upload the video to their YouTube channel. The good news is that it went up earlier this afternoon, and so we are sharing it below as this is a custom Corvette that must been seen to be believed!

Here’s Barrett-Jackson’s catalog description of the car:

Lot #1367 – This 1967 Chevrolet Corvette convertible Resto-Mod was completed in October 2023 by Jeff Hayes Customs. It is powered by an LS3 540hp V8 engine mated to a 4L70E automatic transmission. The interior features a Vintage Air system, AM/FM Bluetooth stereo, power steering and power windows, and the car is equipped with a power hood. It rides on an Art Morrison sport chassis and has 4-wheel Wilwood disc brakes. Finished in Vintage Champagne over a Linen-colored interior, this Corvette rolls on custom-designed Schott wheels wrapped in custom white line tires.
