GM Offers Zero Corvette Allocations for March 2025's Order Cycle

Today was supposed to be the day that Corvette dealers got their latest round of allocations, but apparently GM is going FULL-STOP until it can sort out its issues to the ZR1. We don’t know that for sure, but that’s the impression from the dealers we spoke today have after learning about the latest consensus report.

Following February’s Corvette order cycle, GM made the decision to pull back the first ZR1 orders from 3000 status where the cars would start being scheduled for production and moved them back to 2000 status where they are now being held. A source close to the matter told us that dealers would be contacted by GM about the effort to get more high wings, but so far it has been radio silence on this latest ordering debacle.

We’re also hearing that the dates for the end of the 2025s and the 2026 start of regular production (SORB) may be pushed back as well. Originally, GM told dealers that the 2025 model year would be ending on Friday, May 30th and the start of the 2026s would kick off on Monday, June 2nd. However we are hearing that some dealers have received TPWs for 2025 models after that supposed June 2nd date.

The schedule for dealer orders also originally showed 2026 ordering to start in April which means that March’s order cycle should have been the last for the 2025s, but now that appears to be up in the air as well. GM could still do another order cycle in March, so we’re playing the waiting game just like GM’s customers who only want to be able to buy the dream car that GM has said it could build.

And since we are talking about March, the Corvette Assembly Plant is scheduled to be closed two weeks from March 17th through March 28th as improvements are being made to the production line.

I wish we had some definitive news for you all this time around, but that’s the latest news at it stands.

  1. It’s more than likely due to their “woke” policies that has incompetent people making these decisions.

Lower-case gm still hasn’t learned that one cannot extract blood from a turnip; i.e., incompetent people are incapable of making decisions.
