[VIDEO] Pink C5 Corvette Stars in New Music Video for ‘Barbie The Album’

While I don’t believe I’m in the target market for the Barbie Movie or any of the creative spinoffs the $1 billion movie has generated, I can say that I wholeheartedly approve of the Pink C5 Corvette used in new music video for the song “Speed Drive” which appears on “Barbie The Album.”

The song and video were contributed to “Barbie The Album” by artist Charli XCX, and she is joined with vlogger Devon Lee Carlson who we believe to be driving the donut-generating C5 Corvette.

I don’t pretend to know who any of these girls are, and the Sam Smith cameo in the middle of the video is where I would probably hit the “Back” button and find something more my speed.

However for us, it’s the Corvette that is the star of this Barbie video, and not the four-seater EV that Barbie drove in the movie, but a real gas burning, rubber shredding all American Sports Car with a V8 soundtrack. I’ll even give props to the C5’s pink interior which is further accessorized with two-tone pink seat covers and a bedazzled pink dash. A Barbie Land vanity plate with XCX can be spotted during the C5’s epic smoke-generating rotations.
