How high will this 2023 Corvette Z06 3LZ coupe fly when the current Bring a Trailer auction closes in five days?
No one knows for sure, but already the highest bid for this black beauty that really pops with its Adrenaline Red interior has soared to $151,000 – still well below two recent sales at Mecum where a White Pearl 70th Anniversary convertible hammered for $275,000 and a 3LZ Amplify Orange convertible brought $264,000.
The new owner of this Z06 won’t have the luxury of a factory warranty, however, as General Motors is enforcing its mandate that reselling a Z06 within six months of the original purchase date (in this case, Feb. 9, 2023) renders the warranty null and void for all future owners. We haven’t seen this mentioned anywhere before, but we would assume future owners would be able to add an extended warranty on their own? Does anyone out there know for sure?
This Z06 was originally delivered to Gwatney Chevrolet in Jacksonville, Arkansas and has just 41 miles on the odometer. With an MSRP of $130,620, it includes $10,075 worth of options like the front lift, dual roof, edge red-painted calipers, spider black aluminum wheels with black lug nuts, torch red seat belts, black exhaust tips, and premium carpeted floor mats.
Of course, the new owner will likely be concerned mostly with one main standard feature – the 5.5-liter flat-plane crank LT6 V8 engine. Equipped with CNC-machined cylinder heads, dual throttle bodies, and dual overhead camshafts on each bank, it pumps out 670 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque.
This is the fifth 2023 Corvette Z06 to appear on the popular auto-auction website, but the results haven’t been that stellar with only one Corvette Z06 actually changing hands while the other three were all no-sales due to high reserve prices. Most recently, an Arctic White 2023 Corvette Z06 with the Z07 package was bidded to a high price of $235,000 but failed to sell due to the reserve.
