The 2023 Corvette Z06 is still the hottest car for sale in America and we got the proof right here! While we’ve seen a few no-sales over the last month from those sellers who set their reserve prices high on some of the online auctions, along comes this 2023 70th Anniversary Z06 Convertible to shatter the current auction price record.
This 70th Anniversary Z06 Convertible was offered at Mecum’s Glendale auction last weekend in Arizona. The Z06 had just 11 delivery miles on the car, and the window sticker was still attached. In addition to its 70th Anniversary Package, the Z06 was also optioned with Front Lift, Carbon Flash Nacelles and Roof, and Black exhaust tips. Altogether, the MSRP totaled $140,630.
When the Corvette Z06 hit the Glendale auction block, the White Pearl Z06 hammered for $275,000 and with commission, the total price was an amazing $305,500! That’s $164,870 over MSRP! The previous high auction price we have charted so far is the 1LZ Torch Red Coupe that sold at Mecum Kissimmee for $275,000
Mecum sold one other Z06 last weeekend, a 3LZ Amplify Orange Z06 Convertible with 55 miles. That car fetched $264,000.
The 70th Anniversary Convertible got its window sticker on October 20th, and so it was five months into the 6-month “no-flip” period when it was sold, so we don’t think the new owner will be getting a warranty with the car. As for the Orange Z06, there was no VIN that we could see to help us determine its status, but we assume it also has nontransferable warranty available either.
Looking ahead, we don’t see a Z06 offered at Mecum’s Houston Sale in April, but Barrett-Jackson does have an Arctic White 3LZ Z06 Convertible with visible Carbon Fiber Wheels consigned to the West Palm Beach Auction April 13-15th.
If you can’t wait that long, Bring a Trailer has an auction going right now for a 3LZ Z06 Coupe with Z07 Performance Package closing in two days. That Arctic White Z06 is currently bid to $226,000.

Some of these guys obviously have more money than God.
