People that could be classified as “financially comfortable” are having to get creative with their Corvette purchases as America’s Sports Car has started attracting a wealthier clientele than it has at any other time in its illustrious 70-year career. If you suddenly find yourself unable to procure one of the big dog ‘Vettes, are tired of battling former Porsche and Ferrari owners during the final minutes of an auction, or the thought of dropping the value of a house on a car meant for the working class has simply turned you off of having the latest and greatest, here’s a listing that can hold its head high no matter what other ‘Vettes park around it at the club meeting.

The 18,000-mile barn stormer features the tell-tale carbon fiber hood bulge of Callaway Car’s supercharged C6 Corvette lineup. When that bulge resides on top of a car that was already blessed with 7-liters of displacement from the factory, the result is Callaway’s most potent C6 offering, the SC652 – SC for supercharged, 652 as in six-hundred and fifty-two horsepower!
Callaway’s trick chromed-out waffle-pattern root-style blower is just part of the firm’s comprehensive upgrade package. Fan-favorite “double-D” exhaust is present and accounted for, as is a gorgeous pre-ZR1 carbon aero package. Other enhancements include a liquid-to-air intercooler, a high-flow fuel pump and injectors, a high-flow intake system, staggered OZ racing wheels, upgraded LMGT brakes, and one of the best short-throw shifters in the business. Along with the headline-grabbing power figure, Callaway rated the SC Z06 at 620 lb.-ft. of torque, and to help it put the extra grunt to the pavement, size 285 front and 335 rear Micheline rubber has been spec’d.
We’ve seen this unit hit BAT previously when it changed hands for a high bid of $65,500 back in September of 2022. It will be interesting to see what the market says about this car after seven months, and if you are tired of prices forcing you to pass on all of the “good ‘Vettes,” here is a rare second chance on a car that is every bit as rare and desirable as the cars in the newly minted $200k club.
