1954 Black Roadster

1954 Black Roadster

Based on the overwhelming response to the 1953 Corvette, Chevrolet upped production for the 1954 model year to the tune of 3,640 units built that year. To keep things fresh, buyers could now choose from 3 new colors: Pennant Blue, Sportsman Red, and Black, in addition to standard Polo White. Other changes included a new camshaft, a tan soft top, and your choice of beige or red interiors.

This handsome black 1954 Corvette is just in to Corvette Mike’s inventory. It was frame off restored back in 2014 and, more recently, has been graced with a mechanical refurbishment. Under the hood you’ll find the venerable Blue Flame 6-cylinder which now sports a modern alternator. The old school generator and a binder full of restoration photos are included in the sale. According to Corvette Mike, “The car is sorted, starts up easily and runs and drives great!

1969 Monza Red/Black L89 Coupe

If a powerful big block Corvette is more your speed, check out this stunning Monza Red L89 coupe.

When we talk about collector C3 Corvettes, the top dog L88 tends to grab all the attention. However, let us not forget the more widely available L89. RPO L89 was selected by 390 buyers in 1969. It added aluminum heads to the potent 435hp L71 engine. While it didn’t add more horsepower, the lighter cylinder heads removed significant weight from the front of the car – perfect for the racetrack.

This Stingray was delivered new through legendary Nickey Chevrolet in Chicago. It’s loaded up with transistor ignition, 4.11 rear gears, M21 4-speed, red stripe tires, AM/FM radio, tinted glass, power windows, headrests, F41 suspension, and side exhaust.

The numbers-matching ’69 Coupe has been frame-off restored and is heavily documented. Provenance includes the original window sticker, tank sticker, Protect-O-Plate, Corvette order, and Dealer Invoice from Nickey Chevrolet. The engine has been certified original by Al Grenning’s CCAS, and it’s a Bloomington Gold Certificate winner.

Park this mean Corvette in your garage for $299,900.

2020 Blade Silver Convertible

2020 Blade Silver Convertible

The Corvette world was turned upside down in 2020 when the 8th generation car debuted. After years of rumors, the mid-engine revolution had finally arrived and Corvette was officially on the world stage to take on Porsche, Ferrari, and others at a fraction of the price.

The biggest news in 2020 was the engine location and we also saw the first retractable hardtop on the convertible model. Just press a button and the solid roof disappears behind you, stowing neatly on top of the 495hp LT2 engine. Of the 20,368 Corvettes made in 2020, just 3,581 (17.6%) were convertibles. Of those, 2,017 cars were outfitted with the high-end 3LT package.

The 2020 Stingray presented here is nearly new with just 4,000 miles on the odometer. It’s 1 of only 272 Blade Silver convertible born that year. This C8 is very highly optioned with a Sky Cool Gray interiors, 3LT package, Z51 performance package, Magnetic Ride Control, Carbon Flash nacelles and roof, carbon fiber interior trim, black Trident wheels, and Edge Red brake calipers.

Avoid the long C8 waiting times and grab this Stingray before someone else does.
