Our friends at Callaway Corvette have certainly been busy over the last few months. In addition to their 35th Anniversary B2K package and the Callaway Ciocca Edition Corvettes, the team is currently working on a supercharged Callaway Corvette, and they showed the first prototype last week at Corvettes at Carlisle.

Callaway is using their 2.3-liter TripleCooled Supercharger system featuring a roots-type Eaton TVS2300 that has been configured for the mid-engine LT2 Stingrays. Callaway hopes to have the final engineering, emissions compliance testing, and performance validation completed in the coming months. Production is scheduled to begin in early 2023 and the company has started taking $1,000 deposits from interested customers. The total upgrade is expected to cost somewhere in the low $20s.

As for supercharger integration, it’s rumored that Callaway’s close relationship with Chevrolet dating back to 1987 is finally paying dividends as Muscle Cars & Trucks says the company can “access to calibrate without using a piggyback system” to bypass the Corvette’s encrypted ECU as we’ve seen with other aftermarket power-adders. We slyly asked Callaway’s Mike Zoner at Carlisle if they got “the keys to the kingdom,” to which he replied with a smile, “don’t say that!” We’ll wait to see how the integration is actually performed, but this is some of the best news in years for Callaway enthusiasts and Corvette owners looking for a robust and reliable power upgrade.

Once the package is released, Corvette enthusiasts can purchase a 2023 Corvette Stingray from an authorized Callaway dealer and have the car shipped to Callaway’s Connecticut and California factories for the package installation. Although not sold as a stand-alone kit, pre-owned 2020-2023 C8 Stingrays will be eligible for conversion through Callaway’s “Second Change” program. Callaway backs their system with a three-year/36K mile powertrain warranty that supplements the vehicle’s factory warranty. That can also be upgraded to a five-year/60,000-mile Callaway Powertrain Service Contract. All Callaway vehicles feature Fifty-state emission compliance.

  1. I’m assuming a conservative ~150 HP increase, which places it in the Z06’s LT6 range. An affordable alternative to what most are finding to be an impossible and hugely expensive acquisition with the new Z06. Not to mention the warranty that comes with the Calloway supercharger. Definitely, a consideration.

  2. Anything less than twin turbos for the C8 is ridiculous. Theres a reason the ZR1 will have them. At most, a tvs2300 from 2009 should be $10k installed. Calloway should return to their TT heritage. Pathetic
