We’re closing in on the end of another calendar year and Mike is just as busy as ever in making these Christmas Corvette Dreams come true for these happy customers. ~As I think back over my Corvette sales career it’s not just the Corvettes/sales I remember. The customers/events of course, as many of them are Corvette enthusiasts (I’ve owned 22 Corvettes) much like myself. The fellow co-workers over the many decades, absolutely…many great stories…so many that I wish I had written a journal. I say the same thing from my College Wrestling days at the University of Maryland, wish I had kept a journal. Plus stories/pics of several great Chevrolet dealerships over the past 44+ years…Malcolm Konner Auto, Damascus Chevrolet, and currently Criswell Chevrolet of Gaithersburg, MD for the last 13 years.

The biggest change over the decades is clearly the internet. I do many Corvette delivery/picture/story postings on different forums, my Corvette Furman Facebook page and Corvette.Furman on Instagram. But "not one post "is done for "clicks or dollars". A couple of weeks back I put up a 20-second video on my Corvette Furman Facebook page on the sold C8’s that arrived and at last count it’s well past 600,000 views. Couple of years back I put up a story on a pink C7 Z06 convt that reached 40 million+ views before the Facebook counter broke! (That’s a true story, not made up…see picture below) I don’t do any of these posts for dollars, it’s done because I am a Corvette enthusiast that happens to sell Corvettes. Not many people I know love their job as I do. I signed on at Criswell Chevrolet August 3rd 2009 to be a sales rep and work on a Commission based pay plan, not to make money off youtube clicks etc. I feel I have a fiduciary responsibility to Criswell Chevrolet to be the best ambassador for Chevrolet that I can be. The passion is about the Corvette and the folks that enjoy them, I share my knowledge/passion with every single Corvette enthusiast 24/7/365. Incredible car to experience, any year…any generation. Thank you Corvette team and GM.

Some C8 Corvette deliveries across the USA this past week.

~David and Lily N. of Torrance, California chose to have Criswell Chevrolet do the check out on their new Red Mist 2022 Corvette Z51 coupe and have Plycar trucking enclose trailer their Corvette (6th Corvette they have owned) from Criswell to his California residence. David traveled to Los Angeles in the end of October when he heard I would be attending the Z06 reveal for a few days. So he attended when the general public was allowed in to the Petersen museum and we talked Corvettes…what else! I was really glad to have met David (true gentleman) and I know he will thoroughly enjoy this 8th generation Corvette. Equipment list: 2LT pkg, GT2 buckets, chrome badges, front lift, magnetic ride, edge red calipers, edge red engine cover, engine appearance pkg, Z51 pkg and much more. Until we meet again my friend!

~Scott D. of Woodsfield, Ohio took a quick flight in to Maryland today so he could drive home to Ohio his Arctic White 2022 Corvette Z51 coupe with Sky Cool Gray seats. Equipment list: CF full length stripes, Red calipers, 1LT pkg, magnetic ride, Red seat belts and Z51 pkg.

~Nott W. of Cleveland, Mississippi found me on the internet when he started his Corvette buying process. This week he completed his Corvette delivery at the Museum in Bowling Green, KY with many family members. I am a Lifetime member of the museum so I’m sure he had the red carpet treatment. Nott ordered a Torch Red 2022 Corvette coupe with Natural interior. Equipment list: 2LT, Z51 pkg, GT2 buckets, front lift, magnetic ride, cf instrument panel, edge red calipers, and Torch red seat belts.

~Tom T. of Tarzana, California ordered three 2022 Corvettes for his family and I expect a great holiday season at his California home. The first one is an Arctic White Corvette Z51 Convt with Adrenaline red interior. Equipment list: 2LT pkg, bright red calipers, cf painted wheels, and Z51 pkg. Paperwork complete and just waiting on final payment before all three ship out West the 2,800 miles to Tarzana, California.

~Tom T. of Tarzana, California ordered three 2022 Corvettes for his family and I expect a great holiday season at his California home. The second one is a Black Corvette Z51 Convt with Adrenaline red interior. Equipment list: 2LT pkg, bright red calipers, cf painted wheels, and Z51 pkg.
