Corvette Delivery Dispatch with National Corvette Seller Mike Furman for Dec. 19th

Criswell Chevrolet’s Mike Furman delivers new Corvettes to his customers who come from all across the country to work with the nation’s top individual Corvette seller.

It’s amazing the difference a week makes. Last Sunday everybody was feeling doom and gloom over the tornado strike at the plant. Threatened with an extended shutdown, GM jumped into action and by marshaling manpower, equipment, and supplies from other construction projects, they are able to make repairs in record time. If all goes well, the plant will be back producing Corvettes on Tuesday with both shifts expected to report. Great job, GM! Meanwhile, deliveries at Criswell were never impacted as the trucks keep bringing new Corvettes from Bowling Green to deliver to happy customers. ~Holiday week is upon us just like that, another year coming to a close. Please travel safely and keep the folks impacted by the recent tornado in your thoughts. I’ve always felt that the people of the Corvette world are great humanitarians and I get proved right every year. "Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle" My passion for the Corvette started 44 years ago and the C8 era has brought many first time Corvette owners to the Chevrolet dealerships worldwide. It’s fun to see from my side of the desk hearing the stories of foreign car ownership switching to the mid engine Corvette. The future is bright for the Corvette nation.

~Janet R. and her husband Mark of Cincinnati, Ohio are frequent visitors to the National Corvette Museum, they even donated their 1999 Corvette to the museum in the past! Janet factory ordered from me a Hypersonic gray metallic 2022 Corvette Z51 Convt with black interior and took delivery at the museum Wednesday and I’m sure the red carpet was rolled out! Equipment list: 2LT, CF full length stripes, front lift, magnetic ride, bright red calipers, cf painted wheels, Z51 pkg and more.

~ Bill I. of Albuquerque, New Mexico chose to order his new Ceramic Matrix Gray 2022 Corvette Z51 Convt from me and didn’t let the 1,900 miles between us get in his way. We completed the paperwork via Fed Ex and the next step is PlyCar enclose trailering it from Criswell to his New Mexico home. Equipment list: 3LT, front lift, magnetic ride, CF instrument panel, edge red calipers, red/black interior and much more.

~Amar G. of Cooksville, Maryland factory ordered his Amplify Orange tintcoat 2022 Z51 corvette coupe and he color matched his sweater for delivery day today…and I don’t blame him as this is one stunning Corvette. Check out the Orange seat belts, perfect option with Black interior and Amplify Orange paint. His wife and Father joined him today and Amir insisted his Father drove first!! Well done Amir! ~Gerald M. of The Woodlands, Texas factory ordered a special edition IMSA GTLM Championship C8R edition and with only 1,000 to be produced this is #768! The paperwork has been completed and this week Plycar trucking will enclose trailer his new 2022 Corvette Z51 Convt from Criswell to his Texas home. Hypersonic Gray metallic with the Sky cool gray/strike yellow interior is cooler than the other side of the pillow.

From the day my car was built to the day I received it on the west coast was 13 days. That includes the three days my car sat on the truck that broke down in Arkansas!! The car is a real head turner and a joy to drive. It truly was worth the wait. Thanks for all your help and being spot on with your estimates as we got closer to the big day. (I got to talking to the truck driver that delivered my car. Turns out he was the driver whose load of Corvettes caught on fire in Tennessee. Small world).
