Corvette Delivery Dispatch with National Corvette Seller Mike Furman for Dec. 5th

Criswell Chevrolet’s Mike Furman delivers new Corvettes to his customers who come from all across the country to work with the nation’s top individual Corvette seller.

It was another productive week for Mike who tells us he delivered 30 new Corvettes to these happy customers. Mike shares these photos of some of those deliveries and gives an update on the customer’s specs. We also see a friend pick up a 2019 Stingray from a trade-in. ~As I have stated many times before I was fortunate to have spent my first 12 years in the Car Business working for the Konner family. It put me in a position to lay the groundwork for my career. I listened way more than I spoke. I learned from Ken Allen, my General Sales Mgr and Gary, Cathy, RJ, Florence, Malcolm and Ken Konner and many others that were employed at Malcolm Konner Auto. It also put me in a position to be around Zora Duntov (among others) every Summer when he would spend a week or more at the Malcolm Konner Chevrolet store as a guest of the Konner family for the annual Corvette show. The quote that I have often spoke about from Zora came about when I would inquire what the future holds for the Corvette…and he would say time and time again in his accent…Michael…"Rumors sell magazines, not cars" .

That brings us to Zig Ziglar, you can google him. He was a great salesman, author and motivational speaker many decades ago. Way before the internet he stated " Some people find fault like there is a reward for it" I choose to be positive. I am a Corvette enthusiast first and foremost in the dream job of selling Corvettes. ~Janet and James L. of Tempe, Arizona factory ordered their Red Mist 2022 Corvette Coupe and I had it drop shipped to a Chevrolet dealer in Phoenix, AZ. This past week they took delivery and drove home their Stingray. Equipment list: 2LT pkg, GT2 seats, Natural interior, transparent roof, chrome badges, front lift, magnetic ride, edge red calipers, performance exhaust, and much more!

~Fred H. of Florence, South Carolina took possession yesterday of his new Corvette via courtesy delivery at his local to him Chevrolet dealer in Hartsville, SC. Torch Red with Black interior was ordered for his 2022 Corvette coupe. Equipment: 2LT, GT2 buckets, front lift, magnetic ride, performance exhaust, low rear spoiler and much more. Here is his email he sent with the picture he speaks of: “Thanks for everything Mike! Courtesy Delivery’s only drawback was that I didn’t get to meet you in person, but hopefully that will happen in the future. I took delivery yesterday and thanks to you I was there when the truck arrived and was even able to help the service manager remove the shipping cover! That’s me in the white shirt. I’m going to enjoy my first Corvette!

~Tony and Nanette C. of Cortland Manor, New York took delivery today of their 2nd Corvette from me, the 1st was a 2019 which they traded in with 9,800 miles. Tony ordered a Hypersonic Gray with two tone Sky cool gray/black interior and red seat belts for his 2022 Corvette coupe. Equipment list: 2LT pkg, front lift, bright red calipers, sterling silver trident wheels, low spoiler and much more. Two super nice folks are riding on cloud nine all afternoon for their 240 mile C8 ride home.

~Jim and Wanda M. of Rescue, California took delivery of his new Corvette at the Museum and then visited a few friends across the country and I arranged PlyCar trucking to take it the rest of the way to California via enclosed trailer. Here is a quick email from Jim on his new Torch Red/Adrenaline red 2022 Corvette Convertible.

“Mike I wanted to thank you for making my C8 dream come true. We picked it up on Nov 11 at the NCM. We had Larry Crosbie as our delivery team person. He did a super job and everyone was great. We headed for our place in Iowa the next day and drove through some light rain. We were about 3 hours from our destination near Bloomington when it got dark. Shortly after that I started seeing snow flurries in the headlights. My wife and I both decided that we didn’t need to get to our house that night. The drive was fine the next day and we got to our house. After giving a number of friends and neighbors rides we loaded our C8 in our enclosed trailer for the trip to CA. We made it home fine and now have aprox 900 miles on it. It is the neatest nicest to drive car I have ever owned. I took it to a large Cars & Coffee gathering last Saturday There were a number of exotic cars and Corvettes present. People were really excited with the simple clean lines of my car. They had never seen one in all red with no rear spoiler or front splitter. They liked the chrome emblems and the silver wheels. Several people who said they had deposits down and were going to go body color after seeing mine. I enclosed a couple of photos and thanks again. My good friend Ron T. put down a deposit with you and came by and looked at mine. He is going to order the same thing.” Jim & Wanda M. Of Rescue CA

~Jeff “Zipity” Duda of Hainesport, New Jersey took delivery yesterday of a 4,800 mile mint 2019 Corvette Z51 coupe in Shadow Gray Metallic with Spice red interior…1 of only 2 built in this color scheme for the 2019 model year and its a safe bet it’s the only one with a 7 speed manual transmission. I sold it brand new a few years ago to a nice Tenn. couple that took delivery at the Museum and a few weeks ago they traded it in on a new C8 and it ticked all the boxes for Jeff!! I picked Jeff up at the hotel at 6:45am yesterday morning in my C8 Corvette Convt and arrived at the dealership before Service department had the 7am doors open. We went over the Corvette together and before I knew it he was on the road North to his New Jersey home. Check out Zipity’s Garage next time you’re looking for great Corvette content on the internet! Glad to call Jeff a customer and even better my friend. Jeff came down May 29th for my 5,000th delivery and filmed the whole day never knowing that he himself 6 months later would be my 5,269th Corvette delivery.
