Despite the fact that the year 2020 was a nightmare for just about everybody, the stars aligned for Corvette Racing and the all-new mid-engine C8.R as the team dominated the IMSA GTLM class once racing resumed on July 4th.
The No. 3 Corvette C8.R would bring home five checkered flags while the No. 4 Corvette C8.R contributed to the total with one win as Corvette Racing would win six of IMSA’s 11 races in 2020 and sweep the Drivers, Team, and Manufacturers Championships.
Our friends at Mobil 1 The Grid are celebrating the Corvette C8.Rs accomplishments with this video showing all six checkered flags as the C8.Rs crossed the finish lines.
