~It happens everywhere, every time…last night we meet some friends at an outdoor dining facility and it is packed. I don’t get 3 feet away from my C8 and several folks come walking over. They each have a Corvette story but none of have them have viewed a C8 yet. I always say to first time Corvette buyers that the Corvette is not for the shy! Corvettes draw crowds, last night some guy drove by in a Bentley Convt as I was parking and asked me if I would trade! No one cared about his Bentley as the C8 was getting all the attention.
~Speaking of attention, we all are awaiting Jack Cooper trucking to start shipping Corvettes again. I have faith that Quality Control will be done properly and completed so that Corvettes by the truckload will start moving out very soon. Have patience, this too shall pass.

~Last Sunday I took my C8 to the local Farm in Laytonsville, MD, and yes I used the frunk to put the groceries in!
~I will have a class full of my Corvette customers out at Ron Fellows Spring Mountain Race Track in Pahrump, Nevada July 24th/25th for the C7 Corvette school and October 9th/10th for the C8 Corvette school. I did this 4 times last year and my customer’s feedback is that they really enjoy experiencing this with me as it makes them comfortable seeing me involved in a Corvette sharing time on the same racetrack. Many folks have never been on a racetrack and this is the perfect opportunity. You will learn all about your Corvette from Rick Malone and his highly skilled instructors. Great staff of men and women. I’ve been doing these Customer classes since 2015! *CALL Donna Hammontree to schedule your two day Corvette track experience. 1-800- 391-6891 x232

I always liked that 1978 Corvette Pace Car Billboard so much that many years ago I found one NOS in the box and bought it…now I just need a garage wall big enough to put it up.

In 1986 I borrowed my friends 1955 Olds 98 Convt and went to Konner Chevrolet as Ken Konner was holding a sweet 16 sock hop birthday party for his daughter in the dealership. I gave out car rides in the 55 Olds.

You are right; Corvettes are “people magnets”. I can never stop for gas without someone
wanting to see and talk about my C7 Grand Sport. One time when I stopped for gas, there was a construction crew filling their truck, and they asked me if they could take a picture of them standing by my car.
