As the sixth-generation Corvette prepared to take its final bow, Chevrolet knew it needed a proper sendoff…something worthy of the C6’s legacy and the brand’s 60-year milestone.
The result was the 2013 Corvette 427 Convertible 60th Anniversary, a car that blended the heritage of late ’60s big block drop tops with the modern ferocity of the LS7. Even then, it felt special. Today, it feels downright iconic.
And one of the cleanest examples you’ll ever see—just 1,200 miles from new—is now up for grabs on Bring a Trailer courtesy of our friends at Corvette Mike in Anaheim, CA. With six days left, bidding has already climbed to $60,500, a strong showing for a car that originally stickered at $93,420 when delivered to MacMulkin Chevrolet in Nashua, New Hampshire.
This particular 427 Convertible is one of just 1,088 equipped with the 60th Anniversary Edition Package and one of just 897 with 60th Anniversary Graphics that added a new Pearl Silver Blue full-length racing stripe and, for convertibles, a tonal stripe stitched into the convertible top to extend the graphic theme over the roof.
Finished in Arctic White with the iconic Pearl Silver Blue stripes, it wears its heritage proudly, complete with anniversary badging, a power retractable blue soft top, and Z06 style carbon fiber fenders.
Inside, the Diamond Blue leather cabin looks as crisp as the day it left Bowling Green. Heated power seats, navigation, Bose audio, Keyless Access, and a head up display. Everything about it whispers, “top shelf C6.”
Under the hood sits the crown jewel: the 7.0-liter LS7, factory rated at 505 horsepower and 470 lb ft of torque, paired exclusively with a six-speed manual. It’s the only year Chevrolet ever dropped the LS7 into a convertible. As Corvette Mike put it in the comments:
“This was the last year for the C6 platform and the only year you could get the LS7 427ci/505hp engine in a Convertible! Thus, an instant collectible was born!”

The market has been kind to low mile LS7 cars, and the 60th Anniversary 427 Convertible sits in a sweet spot: rare, desirable, manual only, and tied to a milestone year. As Oldwood noted, these cars have “done well to hold value”—and the trend line points upward.
With nearly a week left, the bidding already feels serious. But for a car this clean, this rare, and this historically significant, the ceiling is still anyone’s guess.
