[SPIED] California Dreaming as Two C8 Mid-Engine Corvette Prototypes are Spotted in San Diego

Here’s a sight that’s guaranteed to give you a warm, fuzzy feeling inside. A pair of camo-clad C8 Mid-Engine Corvette Prototypes were spotted in San Diego today, which I think would probably qualify the drivers for the club award for most distance traveled from home.

The photo was posted once again by Corvette Forum member Corvette_Nut who seems to have a certain knack for sharing quality photos of the C8 Corvette prototypes like these that were spotted earlier this month in Northern California.

Corvette_Nut posted the photo with the caption: “If you happen to be in San Diego, keep an eye out for some Easter Eggs…..“.

Obviously, the C8 Corvettes ARE the Easter Eggs and not something else hidden in the photos. We can’t really deduce anything new here as the cars are well-disguised due to the heavy cladding. Both cars are wearing the MickyD wheels and each appears to have an antenna for private radio communications.

It’s great seeing these two prototypes so far from home and it helps dispell the rumors of issues with the cars. If the Corvette engineers are interested in doing some warm weather testing, we’d like to suggest a trip to Florida as our temps are ticking up in the eighties! That sounds way more enjoyable then the alternative…
