Corvette Designer Kirk Bennion's 2011 Inferno Orange Z06

Corvette’s Head Designer Kirk Bennion has a new ride this summer: A 2011 Inferno Orange Corvette Z06. The Corvette is outfitted with stripes from the Genuine Corvette Accessories catalog and are Cyber Gray in color. We agree that the color matches well with the first year Inferno Orange as does the black front splitter and rear body-length spoiler.

Kirk hinted in his post on facebook that the car will be seen later this summer at events including VIR and Corvettes at Carlisle.

  1. Over the last 30 years I have owned six Corvettes. I love the cars. However, they are looking cheaper and cheaper. If they can remake the Camero and the Thunderbird and Charger… Please remake the 63 split window, with all of todays performance items. You would sell the s@** out of those cars!!!

  2. Designer Kirk Bennion,
You should give the Corvette a complete make over, bring back the Vette’s classic lines and style as the retro muscle cars are making a comeback such as the Chevrolet Camero, the Dodge Challenger and the Ford Mustang.
Take the 1965 Corvette Stingray for instance, a modern day version of the ’65 Stingray would be awesome and most probable to be a power seller for GM.
