The high bid on this unusual 1954 Corvette has climbed to $7,300 on eBay as of Monday morning.
Is it a valuable piece of Corvette history, or just a chopped-to-pieces Corvette?
That’s the question for the new owner to try and answer.

That’s how many second-generation Corvette Sting Rays are up for auction as a package deal right now on eBay. Bidding had reached $67,807.07 as of 9:00 am Eastern Time on Monday morning and so far the reserve has not yet been met.
More times than not during the roll out of a new Corvette model do we see some dealers using market conditions to jack up the price over the MSRP. Of course we do not feel sorry for any buyer who purchases their new Corvette this way when there are so many quality dealers who are selling at MSRP. But hey, if you got to be among the first to have it now, then check out this listing on eBay.
A 1965 Corvette convertible barn find crossed the block a few days ago at Vicari Auctions’ annual fall auction at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum and Convention Center in Biloxi.
But it proved to be a no-sale.
You never know what you’re going to find on eBay, and this 1969 L89 Corvette convertible is a prime example.
Of course, if you happen to live in the United States, you might have to come up with creative shipping options, since this very rare Corvette is in the Land Down Under, Australia.
If you grew up in the 1970s, you no doubt remember the custom Corvette station wagons that appeared in some of the magazines back in those days.
This eBay ad takes that modification in a different direction, though.
