This 1967 Corvette Sting Ray Convertible is a one owner barn find that was recently unearthed in Texas. Found by Thomas Weeks of Discovery TV’s Misfit Garage, the Blue Corvette has been tucked away since the early eighties in a barn across the street from the famous Southfork Ranch in Dallas.
Between the mid 1960s and the mid 1970s, if you wanted a Corvette, or any other Chevrolet product, that would absolutely kick butt at any drag strip in the country, Joel Rosen at Baldwin Motion was the man to see. Baldwin Motion was a combination of Joel Rosen’s Motion Performance and Baldwin Chevrolet, a small dealer on Long Island.
Sometimes things come cheaper by the dozen.
Or in this case, cheaper by the 11.
That’s how many second-generation Corvette Sting Rays are up for auction as a package deal right now on eBay. Bidding had reached $67,807.07 as of 9:00 am Eastern Time on Monday morning and so far the reserve has not yet been met.
You never know what you’re going to find on eBay, and this 1969 L89 Corvette convertible is a prime example.
Of course, if you happen to live in the United States, you might have to come up with creative shipping options, since this very rare Corvette is in the Land Down Under, Australia.
