A new commercial for Mountain Dew shot by Mouse McCoy and his Bandito Brothers production company features a C4 Corvette being “pipe-ramped” into a bullfighting ring. In the new spot, an obnoxious dude drives up to the arena and tosses his keys to a young man he assumes is a valet. Of course, the kid is not a valet and so he takes the Corvette on a joyride with culminates in a spectacular jump into the bullfighting arena. Trust me, its awesome!
The Speed Business is a web-based documentary/reality show detailing a behind the scenes look at Blackdog Racing and team owner/driver Tony Gaples. Produced by Patrick Gramm (Vette Garage, Vette Girl), the show promises to take the viewer to places race fans rarely see…in the pits, in the garage and behind the wheel right in the middle of all the action as Blackdog Racing campaigns in the 2005 SCCA Pro Racing “Speed World Challenge” series.
In all the videos to come out of SEMA regarding the track ready Corvette Z06x concept, none captured the track ready car actually running. Pfadt Race Engineering’s Aaron Pfadt captured this video of the SEMA Corvette Z06x Concept when it was out at Spring Mountain for show and tell. Although the Corvette is just cruising the parking lot, you will hear the tell-tale exhaust note of a Corvette that’s ready to race.

The Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals get underway in Chicago on Saturday and we’re betting one of the highlights of the weekend show will be the reunion of the legendary Baldwin-Motion Corvettes (and Camaro’s) with their creator, Joel “Mr.Motion” Rosen. In advance of tomorrow’s opening, here’s a quick video taken during today’s setup. Hit the jump for a few more photos.

The Rossi SixtySix and its designer David R paid a visit to Jay Leno’s garage for some quality time with the late night host. Longtime readers of CorvetteBlogger know of our affection for the retro-looking rebodied C6 that the Rossi SixtySix inspires. But now the SixtySix’s first real test comes from a passionate Corvette enthusiast whose collection focuses more on later model performance than classic midyear fiberglass.
