[VIDEO] Chevy's Josh Holder Talks and Answers Questions About the 2023 Corvette Z06 at Petit Le Mans

I was really hoping someone would capture the tech talks by Corvette Chief Engineer Josh Holder during the Petit Le Mans weekend and my prayers were answered when I found this great video of Josh Holder with Corvette engineering manager Ed Moss talking about the 2023 Corvette Z06 from the show car display.

The video clocks in at nearly half an hour and the question and answer format allow Josh and the engineers to cover a lot of ground. Next to the Accelerate Yellow C8 Z06 is the Z06 cutaway display which helps with the technical discussion. At about halfway through the presentation, questions are opened up to the audience and we get some great new info never shared before.

There is also some breaking news as we learn that Morello Red interior will be replaced by the dipped Adrenaline Red interior for 2023 and there may also be some new stitch patterns in the interior to enhance and differentiate the Z06 from the Stingray. Josh was also asked about replacing the carbon flash wishbone with a visible carbon fiber version and he says that may be something to look forward to at a later time as well.

We also hear about the hallow tube camshafts, how much oil does the engine takes, and we hear that every LT6 V8 engine is dyno tested before being installed in the car. “We have done thousands of hours of track, dyno, and street durability testing,” says Holder.

At the conclusion of the video, we get a cold start and some sample revs so check it out here!
