It’s always hard to describe the Woodward Dream Cruise. After all, it is the world’s largest one-day automotive event. It’s not your typical car show. Usually, we can show you coverage from all corners of an event like Corvettes at Carlisle or Bloomington Gold, but the Dream Cruise is 16 miles long. We usually share photos of most of the cars at a traditional Corvette show, but the Dream Cruise draws upwards of 40,000 collector cars each year.

It took six hours, but vlogger Drive615 was finally able to track down a C8 Corvette in the target-rich city of Bowling Green, Kentucky where the new Corvettes will begin production later this year.
The 10-minute video is mostly about the Black 2020 Corvette Stingray that they spied and then followed as the driver made his way to The Home Depot of all places. There is some great hi-def video here showing several walk-arounds of the car with both the engine compartment and driver’s door opened for the camera. The black Stingray features options that include yellow calipers, black interior with yellow stitching, and yellow seat belts.
The C8 Corvette’s Introductory Price of $59,995 Will Most Likely Go Up After 2020
If you want to get a C8 Corvette starting under $60,000, you’d better hurry and buy a 2020 model.
Motor Trend is reporting today through a “well-placed source” that General Motors – which stunned everyone with its Aug. 15 confirmation that the new Stingray would start out at the “bargain basement” price of $59,995, including shipping – will increase the base price for the 2021 model year.
