It took six hours, but vlogger Drive615 was finally able to track down a C8 Corvette in the target-rich city of Bowling Green, Kentucky where the new Corvettes will begin production later this year.
The 10-minute video is mostly about the Black 2020 Corvette Stingray that they spied and then followed as the driver made his way to The Home Depot of all places. There is some great hi-def video here showing several walk-arounds of the car with both the engine compartment and driver’s door opened for the camera. The black Stingray features options that include yellow calipers, black interior with yellow stitching, and yellow seat belts.
There’s a bit of stalking going although it appears to be with the blessing and patience of the driver who allows the vloggers to follow him to a take-out restaurant before heading on his way. There are some great visuals of the Black Corvette driving at dusk and then the lights come on when the sun fully sets.

Exclusive look at a 2020 C8 Chevrolet Corvette in the wild. This 2020 Chevrolet Corvette Mid-Engine C8 was black with yellow brake calipers and yellow stitching and seat belts. We searched the Corvette Museum and the Corvette Track, but had no luck. We eventually spotted the 2020 C8 when I was about to head back to Nashville, Tennessee. The exhaust note on the new 2020 C8 sounded so good. It was loud and fast too! We cruised along side the new Corvette.
