Your Next Corvette Awaits at Mecum Houston

Mecum Auctions is off to a phenomenal start to the 2026 Auction season. Building on the strength of the Kissimmee and Glendale events, they are now off to Houston, Texas for the 3rd collector car auction of the year. The 3-day Houston sale is expected to draw 1,000 vehicles. The popular event runs Thursday, April 9th through Saturday, April 11th.

The docket is growing daily, and we already have 40 Corvettes consigned to the Houston auction. We expect many more to be added in the weeks leading to the sale. The offerings already encompass all 8 Corvette generations. On the early end we see an award-winning Panama Yellow 1958 convertible while the late model end of the docket is highlighted by the last 2020 Corvette Stingray produced.

Here’s a look at how the Houston docket currently breaks down by Corvette generation:

Corvette Docket

As always, Mecum has assembled an eclectic mix of unrestored Corvettes, cool customs, daily drivers, and factory-correct restored masterpieces.

On the custom side of things, you’ll note a bevy of Corvettes that have been modified from their original form. The striking 1961 restomod wears Viper Red paint and packs LS2 power while the silver over red 1967 custom gets a 383 under the hood, C6 Z06 brakes, and more. If you’re more of a C3 person, check out the gray and silver 1968 convertible that was featured in Vette Magazine. The late model crowd will love the 2019 Grand Sport that’s been given the ZR1 treatment.

If it’s a tuner car you’re after then be sure not to miss the 800hp 2017 Yenko SC Grand Sport or the 700hp 2014 Hennessey HPE700 Stingray coupe.

You can always expect special edition Corvettes at a Mecum auction and Houston once again delivers. Take your pick of a L82, 4-speed 1978 25th Anniversary Coupe or the 1978 Pace Car. And certainly don’t miss the Crystal Red 2013 427 Convertible Collector Edition.

Houston also has several great C2’s and C3’s already consigned as well. The Mike Flash Collection brings us a great 350hp Nassau Blue side pipe convertible and a mean triple black 1966 big block convertible. On the C3 side, we love the unrestored NCRS 3-Star, 16k-mile blue/blue coupe and the black on black 1969 L88 replica out of the Tony Gullo collection.

Finally, let’s look at the final 2020 Corvette produced – a Sebring Orange 3LT convertible. That’s right, VIN 19456 of the 19,456 produced in the first year of C8 production with just 14 miles showing.
