Congratulations to Erica Kaufman of Clarksville, Indiana whose winning ticket #0512345 was drawn live on Saturday in the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame and Museum’s latest fundraising sweepstakes. Erica becomes the new owner of an Arctic White 2025 Corvette Z06 Convertible plus $20,000 cash to help pay those taxes!
The National Sprint Car Hall of Fame and Museum is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in Knoxville, Iowa dedicated to promoting the thrill and excitement of Sprint Car racing. This was the eighth Corvette sweepstakes conducted by the racing facility, which helps to financially support the museum’s operations.
This grand prize of the 2025 Corvette Z06 Convertible 2LZ was optioned with an Arctic White exterior, Adrenaline Red interior, and Gloss Black forged aluminum wheels. A Corvette Racing “Jake” graphic is displayed on each of the rear quarter panels.
Erica received a phone call on Saturday, February 14th from the Museum’s executive director Bob Baker notifying her that she had won, and it was apparent that she had watched the live drawing just minutes before the phone call as she asks Bob, “Did I really just watch what I watched?” Erica then traveled to Iowa on Monday with her husband and three kids to officially take delivery of the new sports car.
“It’s surreal, it’s the biggest blessing,” Erica told KNIA/KRLS. “I will cherish this for a very long time and I will never forget this experience. I will take really good care of it.”

While being a ‘winner’ sounds great initially, the smartest thing to do would be to sell it ASAP and put those proceeds into a good mutual fund where it will continue to grow even more! Instead, people end up paying sky-high insurance and fuel costs and possibly speeding tickets or even accidents and will end up far worse off financially than they were before they won!
Want to be a winner win
I’ve entered several car giveaways, I would settle for a good used one but of course I’m still driving my 2006 corolla Toyota I bought new. I would do like some suggest. Sell it or if it was a choice, take money instead, buy me another Toyota and possibly get me a 1bdr. Tiny home and lot. I’m 67 would just like a space to garden. Lol
Best advice she can ever take!!! SELL IT and SAVE those peoceeds!!!
I read that there is a cash option people can take.
Boring! Live a little!
That car’s done.
I LOVE the new corvette and I love to win my dream car because I couldn’t afford to buy.do to health cost an being limited to the way I can move around safely with. Oxygen.i 📸 me riding with my oxygen.an my kid driving me around
A red corvette would be hot! Sizzle!
Hopefully she’s smart and saves that 20k for taxes on the car if that’s the option she took.
Reading the comments here people seem to assume that she is financially strapped. I’m quite certain that the tickets for that giveaway were not cheap. She may be financially able to pay the cost of taxes, insurance, and upkeep with no problem. For her, buying the ticket was purely to support the cause and Hell if she won, she gets a Vette relatively cheap
Sherri, you’ve got company. I’m still driving my 1997 Toyota Camry that I purchased brand new from my Toyota dealership. It’s got 300,000 miles on it and I drive it every day. The original alternator finally went in 2025. Not bad, 28 year’s I got out of it. Alot of cars have come and went in my driveway through the past 30 years but like I tell my “that almost 30 year old Camry is still the most reliable car we own, and most are under 10 years old.
I guarantee she doesn’t even know who makes that model
Congratulations! You were so excited! Your new Corvette is beautiful!
Kindly, Amora Corvette Lady
