Some days it seems like we get barely a drip of information about upcoming Corvettes, and then there are days like today where it comes from a firehose.

If you missed our earlier story, Chevrolet’s January dealer memo talks about a few things Corvette related. We’ve already covered the upcoming changes to the exterior colors as Riptide Blue Metallic and Hysteria Purple Metallic will be ending sometime this year and will not be rolling over to the 2027 model year. We also got news that pricing has been set for the Stars & Steel Limited Edition coming out for 2026 which is the focus of this post.

While the dealer memo didn’t specify what that package price would be, leave it to our friend Rick Conti to sleuth it out of GM’s ordering system. Remember that the Stars & Steel package will be offered across all models of Corvettes from Stingray to ZR1X and they will only be available with the 3LT/3LZ trim group. That’s the MSRP of the car and then RPO USA (how cool is that) is the Stars & Steel option which will add an additional $9,995 to your order price.

The RPO USA includes all the options and graphics that make these limited edition Corvettes unique. The Arctic White Stars & Steel Corvettes have to be ordered with the Santorini Blue interior and they will get the Satin Silver tonal American flag-inspired full-length stripe and graphics. The Black version must be ordered with an Adrenaline Red interior and they have the Satin Black tonal American flag-inspired full-length stripe and graphics. The USA package also includes Black Wheels, Edge Red Calipers, Red seat belts, special floor mats, exclusive sill plates, and the numbered interior plaque. These features can be slightly different depending on the Corvette its going on.

Black ZR1 Stars *& Steel

The Stars & Steel Corvettes reminds us of the 70th Anniversary package that was also offered on two exteriors – White Pearl Metallic or Carbon Flash Metallic. Chevrolet charged $5,995 for the 2023 model year package, and the price went up $995 if you wanted the optional Stripe. This new Limited-Edition Corvette can be ordered in Arctic White or Black and it includes the unique graphics package. Buyers can further outfit their Stars & Stripes Corvettes with other options including the various Performance Packages and the must have Front lift. It will be interesting to see which exterior comes out ahead at the end of the run. Any guesses?

The dealer memo hasn’t specified when ordering for any of these 250 limited-edition Corvettes will open up, so stay tuned for that.

  1. Why get rid of Riptide Blue Metallic and Hysteria Purple, two terrific colors in my book?? 🤬

  2. Riptide Blue is a Good one. How about we get rid of the color white? White is for kitchen appliances not for cars

  3. You pay $9995 extra and all you get are some off center stick on stripes and some color accents. What a joke lol!

  4. Yawn. Another overpriced stripe and paint “special edition” with no mechanical differences or extra performance.
