The 2025 model year will be remembered for the introduction of the ZR1 as the latest King of the Hill makes its presence known. Officially, the number of ZR1s produced was 180 which would also include any Captured Test Fleet cars, and the total breaks down to 115 Coupes and 65 Convertibles. While the USA is the primary market for the model, we also learned that seven ZR1s were sold in Canada, four went to Mexico, and five were sold in the Middle East. Another interesting stat is the great majority of ZR1s were outfitted with the 3LZ package and just seven of the cars were built as 1LZ models.

Now, with the full stats available for 2025 Corvette owners, it’s time to contact Betty at the National Corvette Museum’s Library and Archives to order your “1 of 1” letter that compares your build to all others during the model year.

As for the exterior and interior color combinations, Chevrolet has really done a great job this year in breaking out the combinations by model, and what may be the most popular color for one model can be different for others. Another interesting stat for the 2025 colors is that we have no 1% or 2% colors for the year like we previously saw with Caffeine, Cacti, and Zeus Bronze. Overall, here are the rankings of the exterior colors and their production numbers:

  1. The standout on this list is the Rapid Blue ZR1’s, with 9 total. There will not be any more made ever.

The SWG ZR1’s had 23 made (with none more to be made). Which isn’t a lot, but still more than the 22 E-Rays ever made in Accelerate Yellow. (Which is smaller than all of the other discontinued 2024 colors like CMG, Cacti, HSG, AO, and Silver Flare).

Some of the other colors have lower ZR1 production numbers, but aren’t discontinued for 2026.

  2. They shouldn’t have discontinued the Silver Flare color. Have they even sold a Blade Silver in 2025?

  3. When GM first announced the ZR1 they said they would not have limited production. I wonder it they will ramp up production? I am interested but not over sticker.

  4. @William – We are already closing in on 500 ZR1s that have already been built for 2026. I would say they are well on their way to making upwards of 2000+ this year alone
