It sure is challenging to get a handle on the C6 ZR1 market these days. On the one hand, 2025 ZR1 hype season is in full swing: the resulting trickle-down effect, compounded by the pent-up demand for manual transmission Corvettes after a six-year absence, has pushed prices steadily back towards original MSRP, and beyond. On the other hand, people are discovering abandoned examples in parking garages – it’s hard to make heads or tails of it all!
Now, a Fort Myers supercar specialist aptly named ShopExotiCars is trying to put another interesting stamp on the convoluted 2009-13 ZR1 valuation curve. The Florida shop has recently taken possession of an Inferno Orange Metallic unit from the penultimate year of “Blue Devil” production. Just 69 ZR1s were ever sprayed the C6’s third available orange paint, with only 16 of those coming in 2012, already making this one a rare find. In addition to the striking hue, it’s well optioned with the top-shelf 3ZR interior equipment group in Dark Titanium. The optional chrome 20-spoke wheels are also present, along with Gray calipers on its Ferrari Enzo-spec Carbon Ceramic brakes (making it one of 10 for 2012).
This 638-horsepower IOM unicorn is completely stock, save its full Paint Protection Film (PPF) and “professionally installed” window tint treatments. Complete documentation – including laminated window sticker and build sheet is presented in a shadow box, indicating previous ownership by the overly particular kind of guy everyone wants to buy from – is included. Finally, it has only supercharged its way to a 3,882-mile odometer reading since leaving Bowling Green for delivery at Kelley Chevy of Fort Wayne, Indiana, a decade and a half ago.
All of this adds up to one of the nicest and best-sorted C6s to hit open water in quite a while, and we’ll be observing its ability to attract biters closely. Our curiosity was piqued at first sight, but its confident price – even for its quality and rarity – set the hook even deeper. As of writing, it’ll take $144,990 to make this beauty yours. Steep? Sure. Worth it? Absolutely!

145K! NoWay/ NoHow. even though some folks have more $ than sense.
Without a doubt it is one sweet looking ride!
My 2009 ZR1 (459) Atomic Orange Metallic with Sienna interior was better looking & more rare. Only 35 total ZR1s were produced in Atomic Orange, and estimated only two with the Sienna interior
Don’t care if is 1 of 2 with a pink polkadot interior, not worth it.
I have a 2011 twin of this car with a few more miles. I would take the MSRP for mine. It’s a show can…not a driver.
I bought it.
