Here’s a nice feature on an owner’s 1963 Corvette Split Window from a new YouTube channel I just stumbled upon. WickedWheelsTV talks to the owner Chris who is the owner of this beautiful ’63 Corvette Sport Coupe.
Chris offers an informative breakdown on the ’63 Corvette production numbers while also sharing some of the details of how he came to own this Corvette which was originally out of Virginia. At one point it ended up in Alaska of all places where it underwent an extensive restoration. Chris says he has now owned VIN #2700 for three years. It’s also been judged and awarded an NCRS Top Flight.
The Sting Ray looks to be outfitted in Daytona Blue with a Dark Blue interior but it is hard to tell in the lighting. It does have the L75 327ci V8 rated at 300 horsepower, and it’s also optioned with the turbine style knock-off wheels.
We actually get quite an in-depth review from inside and out of the car, and it’s even put on a lift so we can see the independent rear suspension which was introduced on the 1963 model year Corvette.
We also enjoyed the ride along in the car, as there is nothing quite like the riding in a 1963 Corvette split window. The video is just a quick 5 minutes, but we think it’s time well spent for those who love the classics!

Great short and to the point informative video. That’s crazy how big the fuel filler is on this car. I never knew C3’s were like that.
