[VIDEO] Can You Help These Lost Car Sleuths Find a Stolen 1963 Corvette?

Our friend Wes Eisenschenk runs a pretty cool Facebook page and YouTube channel called Lost & Found Muscle Cars that is dedicated to helping people reunite with their long lost vehicles. Now, he is asking for our help in locating a stolen 1963 Corvette Convertible.

Previously, we shared the reunion of this 1958 Corvette with the car’s original family after it was sold some 60 years ago. So while sometimes it may seem like hunting for a needle in a haystack, you never know what might happen with you ask for some help by the public.

Wes says that he and his Facebook community have located 1200 lost cars since its launch, so maybe you can be part of this successful reunion.

In the video below, Wes gives us the basic information about the car including its VIN: 30867S102147. The 1963 Corvette Convertible was owned by a lady named Lynda who purchased the car with an aftermarket top in Philadelphia in February 1969, and then the car was painted Rally Green. She worked at General Electric in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania and drove the car on a daily basis. Unfortunately, the Corvette was stolen from the parking lot at G.E. in either 1970 or 1971 while she was at work. A police report was filed, but the car never surfaced again.

During her ownership, Lynda raced the car on weekends at Atco Raceway in New Jersey as well as McGuire Air Force Base, and these are the only photos they have the car. Her family says she talked often about the Corvette and how much she loved it. After Lynda passed away in 2015 from Pancreatic cancer, the family is hoping to be reunited with the car.

Wes says the family still retains the original PA title and registration. It was painted Rally Green with what looks to be a stripe around the Corvette’s horizontal feature line. However, if it was restored back to its original color, that would be Ermine White. For those who may have been in the area and raced at Atco, or if you worked for GE back in the day, put on those thinking caps and try to remember back to those days.
