[VIDEO] Red Mist C8 Corvette Featured in Upcoming Red One Christmas Movie

While watching my beloved Tampa Bay Buccaneers lose in overtime on Monday Night Football against the Kansas City Chiefs, we caught a new trailer for the Red One Christmas movie featuring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Chris Evans.

The premise of the movie is that Santa Claus, aka Red One, has been abducted and elite team of Santa’s helpers must rescue him. What piqued our interest was a part in the trailer where Chris Evans is told to grab a hot wheels toy at a toy store and The Rock uses a special weapon that turns it from being a toy into “reality.” That toy was a Red Mist C8 Corvette Stingray, and once it has been turned into a real car, the duo uses it to pursue those who are certain to receive coal in their stockings…if Santa’s Helpers can rescue Red One in time to save Christmas.

Here’s a few more screen grabs from the car. I noticed they didn’t show The Rock actually trying to sit in the Stingray Z51 Coupe. Do you think he actually could or is it just Hollywood using camera misdirection to make you think he could?

Red One looks like a fun movie and wait until you see the polar bear character and the snowmen in the trailer below. Red One opens in theaters on November 15th.

  1. Ya I thought I saw a clip of the Rock grabbing a Matchbox toy car and zapped it with his watch or something and a full sized Red Mist C8 appears. Damn I want one of those gadgets he has.
