How about some racing action with the Corvette taking on the world? We’ve got a true contender here with a no-wing Torch Red Corvette Z06. While the drag strip isn’t the race track that Chevrolet engineers probably had in mind while developing the car, it’s still a great way to show off the Z06’s bonafides.
This action was captured by the Import Race YouTube channel at the Maryland International Raceway. The Z06 certainly had its work cut out for it with the imports gunning for the America’s Favorite Sports Car. Tonight, the Z06 would go up against a BMW M3, BMW X3 M40i, and a Toyota Supra GR.
We won’t spoil the outcomes for you, but the Z06 did make a solo run with a time of 11.41 seconds at 124.19 mph. As you can imagine, the 670-hp 5.5-liter V8 offers a great soundtrack as it flies down the track.

The Z06 should be running 10.7s -10.9s . If it was a hot humid afternoon or evening than stay home.
