With the crew at the Bowling Green plant busy cranking out tens of thousands of new Corvettes every year since 2020, the old economic law of supply and demand has caught up with Chevy’s still very popular sports car.
In fact, we just spotted the lowest-priced C8 hardtop convertible we’ve seen on the market right now, with a Davie, Florida dealer offering this stunning Black-over-Adrenaline Red example on AutoTrader for just $60,900!
This 2LT originally listed for $84,880, with nearly $10,000 worth of options, including the Z51 Performance Package, Magnetic Ride Control, Bright Red Calipers, Torch Red Seatbelts, and Chrome Exterior Badge Package – but no Front End Lift.
Even today, Kelley Blue Book still lists the value of this used C8 as being between $75,371 and $81,492.
Another law of economics, however, also comes into play with this particular Stingray – “there’s no such thing as a free lunch.”
In this case, this bargain Corvette comes with a rebuilt title from previous front end damage, but the dealer insists it “was fully repaired and is what we specialize in!” It also includes a 30 day/500 mile engine and transmission warranty with no dealer fees.
WholesaleLuxuryCars.com also claims to sell primarily on eBay “so our customers can see our 100% positive feedback rating with over 1,000 vehicles!”
Nevertheless, a potential buyer would no doubt be wise to have the car checked out thoroughly and also find out the actual mileage as the dealer includes this disclaimer: “Not actual mileage labeled on title, TMU brand because vehicle was not jump started in auction to get odometer reading.”
But if you’re ok with a Z51 that’s been wrecked but apparently well-repaired, in a striking color combo, this ’21 surely represents a great opportunity to get into a C8 at a bargain price.

Hopefully C8 prices are coming back to earth 🌎.
Fender-bender or did it hit a tree or get run up under an 18-wheeler? Caveat emptor.
