2023 Corvette Z06 Convertible 3LZ
Now offered on Bring a Trailer is a stunning 2023 Corvette Z06 Convertible finished in Amplify Orange with the 3LZ Tension Blue/Twilight Blue leather interior. Our friend Jeremy had a similar combo of Orange over Blue with his 2020 Stingray and it’s a bold combination that actually works very well in our opinion. Along with the Orange/Blue color combo is an Edge Blue racing strip that runs across the length of the car, and it rides on the visible carbon fiber wheels. The original owner is said to have “wanted something that no one else had,” and we’re pretty sure this could be a 1 of 1 when adding up the various options. One thing is for certain, this 2023 Corvette is guaranteed to turn heads while driving, and it will definitely stand out against the competition at any car show.
Power for the Z06 is provided by the 5.5L LT6 flat-plane crank V8 that is rated at 670 horsepower and 460-lb-ft of torque. The award-winning naturally aspirated engine is coupled to Tremec’s TR-9080 eight-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifts. The original buyer opted to skip the Z07 and instead added the Brembo Carbon Ceramic Brakes with dark gray brake calipers. The front lip on the Z06 features a painted chin spoiler while carbon flash metallic rocker panels are installed on each side. As this is a convertible, you can raise or lower the top in just 16-seconds even while traveling up to 30 MPH.
The window sticker shows an MSRP of $153,995 and the CarFax reports that this is a one-owner car that originally started service in June 2023. An indoor car cover and Roadside Safely Package containing the Highway Safety Kit and First Aid Kit were also ordered new with the Z06. Just 42 miles are currently showing on the odometer.
If you want to enjoy a nearly new Corvette Z06 this summer, this one in Amplify Orange/Two-Tone Blue is sure to provide miles of smiles as you drop the top and enjoy the soundtrack from that that awesome-sounding V8 engine as it revs all the way to 8600 RPM. The Bring a Trailer auction runs through Monday, June 3rd at 1:31 pm ET and representatives from Corvette Mike are answering your questions in the comments at BaT.
1969 Corvette Coupe L68
This time-capsule 1969 Corvette Coupe is all original and has never been restored. The ’69 Stingray Coupe is painted in Fathom Green and has a Black interior. The numbers matching engine is an L68 427ci with 400 horsepower and it’s equipped with a four-speed manual transmission. According to Corvette Mike, “the paint, interior, glass, chrome, etc. are all original to the car.” Today, the Corvette is showing just 13,790 miles on the odometer.
The ’69 Corvette’s first owner was based in St. Paul, MN and he purchased the car after returning from Vietnam in 1969. A buddy of his also purchased a new Corvette on his return from Vietnam and together the two veterans would cruise and show their cars all around the St. Paul area. Sadly, the owner’s buddy was killed in an accident with his Corvette in 1970, and after that the original owner lost interest and rarely drove his car. It was put into storage in 1974 and then sold to a collector client of Corvette Mike’s in 2007.
The second owner had the car judged in 2014 for the first time, and it earned a Top Flight award from the NCRS. From there it was judged at the NCRS National meet in 2015 as an unrestored Corvette, and it received two stars out of a possible 4-Stars for the NCRS Bow-Tie Award. Corvette Mike calls the paperwork “amazing” with service receipts going back to 1969. They even found a gas receipt from 1971 stuffed in the map pocket. “A true time capsule and a great running and driving car,” says Corvette Mike!

All three are super nice!
Orange with a bright blue and black interior? That’s got to be the ugliest color combo in Corvette history!
Mark is incorrect. That dubious honor belongs to the Cacti over Red E-Ray.
To Mr. Mike Furman, could you please explain to the “Corvette Bogger” audience, your procedures that your Corvette Technicians go through when assessing the conditions of these used Corvettes?
For example, do you perform a simple compression test, or a comprehensive cylinder leak down analysis.
Do you perform GM’s recalls, and do you drain the transaxle (transmissions) in order to assess there condition?
Safety checks, such as condition of brakes, running gear, suspension, emissions, seatbelts, airbags etc.?
Lastly, do you provide all of these results to the customer?
Many thanks,
Ray
I think you have the wrong Corvette Mike, but Chevrolet dealers do a 172-point inspection on pre-owned vehicles. The top cars are rated as “Certified Pre-Owned” and come with their own warranty.
