Happy Easter, Corvette Nation! Thanks again for checking out this week’s delivery post. Mike shares a number of new Corvettes being delivered to their happy owners both at the Maryland dealership and the National Corvette Museum, while a few other Corvettes are shipped directly to the customer’s driveways. In addition to the new Corvettes, Mike also has a cool collection of throwbacks and vintage pics that offer a glimpse of what Corvette enthusiasts were doing with their cars back in the day. ~3/24/24~Sunday delivery of my 2024 Riptide Blue Speed Shape gift from GM arrived via Fed Ex. I really like these display pieces and GM does a great job with this design. Nice keepsake especially as a Corvette enthusiast.
~40+…I figure I’ve been to Spring Mountain Race Track in Pahrump, Nevada 40+ times since 2008. The last 10 years I’ve hosted 110 customers from all over the world for 6 classes per year. A few years I was out there 4 times a year. Since 80% of my business is out of state I thought this would be a great way to meet up so Todd and Rick of Spring Mountain informed the powers that be and the green light was on! Tomorrow morning I fly out and I’m on site until next Friday morning April 5th. The instructors are world class and the track is the largest in North America. Corvette Furman owners school will be in session all week with 54 of my clients, fun will be had by all and I host two pizza dinner parties in The Clubhouse, the restaurant on site…Sunday evening and Tuesday evening.
*I am sure the Guard at the Gate thinks I’m a member by now!
~The Corvette is the most iconic of Sports cars and it’s in most opinions that the 1963 Corvette Split Window coupe is the #1 iconic Sports car of all time. I’ve owned 25 Corvettes and one of them was a 63 Riverside Red SW coupe. In 1963 there were 21,513 Corvettes produced and only 10,594 were coupes as the other 10,919 were Convertible. Today a local businessman took delivery of the Saddle Tan 63 SW that was displayed on the showroom floor. Matching numbers and still looked great by design even after 61 years! I will miss this 63 Corvette being proudly displayed on our new car showroom floor.
~C8 Corvette Deliveries for the week
~Jerry W. of Fullerton, California was referred to me by Bill H., the Captain of the West Coast Caravan late this Summer. Someone blew a red light and totaled his C7 so I had his c8 built as quick as I could so he could prepare for his Summer Corvette events. Jerry ordered a Sea Wolfe Gray 2024 Corvette Z51 convertible with Black interior. I had it drop shipped for courtesy delivery to his local to him Chevrolet dealer in Costa Mesa, CA. Equipment: 2LT, GT2 buckets, bright Red calipers, and Z51 pkg.
~Ed and Margaret V. of East Meadow, New York took delivery yesterday at the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, KY. They stopped by my office on Saturday morning 7am to drop off their 2019 Corvette. And we spoke shortly before they continued on to Kentucky for their Monday morning appointment. They ordered a Ceramic Matrix Gray 2024 Corvette Z06/Z07 coupe loaded with all the goodies. The Tension/Twilight Blue interior really pops with this paint color choice.
~Ultimate Surprise with many moving pieces! I received a call from Gian S. Of Las Vegas, Nevada and his goal was to buy his business partner of 10 years (Ken W.) a new Corvette. Gian wanted to pay for it in full as I had it drop shipped for courtesy delivery to a Chevrolet dealership in Phoenix, AZ. I hope you can view the posted video as Gian had a professional photographer capture the special moment on camera! Ken W. of Las Vegas was totally shocked yesterday as they were looking at his new factory ordered Corvette on the showroom floor unbeknownst to him…that it was actually his new Sea Wolfe Gray 2024 Corvette Z51 coupe with Natural interior. Equipment: 3LT, Tech bronze accent pkg, red engine cover, front lift, magnetic ride, and much more. Big Congrats to Ken W. and kudos to Gian for pulling off this very cool Corvette surprise. It doesn’t get much better than this, “cooler than the other side of the pillow!”

~Mike M. of Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania has ordered Corvettes from me in the past. Today his new Hypersonic Gray 2024 Corvette Z51 Convertible got delivered to his PA home via Plycar trucking. He is a happy camper!
~ Steve M. of Walnut Creek, California factory ordered from me his new Black 2024 Corvette Z51 coupe with Red/Black interior and a high wing spoiler. Plycar trucking will enclose trailer cross country to his California home.
~Gilles and Angele R. of La Quinta, California factory ordered their 3rd Corvette from me and this time its electrified. Check out their new “White Tuxedo”…Arctic White 2024 Corvette Eray Coupe with Natural interior and Competition seats. Equipment: 3LZ, Red engine cover, chrome badges, front lift, bright red calipers, bright polished forged aluminum wheels and tan seat belts. Stunning Eray!! Plycar trucking will enclose trailer it from Criswell to La Quinta, California.
~Brad T. of Slippery Rock, Pennsylvania ordered his 2nd C8 from me, last time it was a dual C8 delivery at the Corvette Museum. Brad’s brother Mark drove him down in his Yellow C8 so Brad could take delivery here at Criswell. Brad ordered an Amplify Orange 2024 Corvette Z51 Convt with Natural interior. I’m sure they will have a fun 4 hour ride home just North of Pittsburgh.
~Ed P. of Colorado Springs, Colorado factory ordered from me a Riptide Blue metallic 2024 Corvette coupe with the Tension/Twilight Blue interior. Plycar trucking will enclose trailer it from Maryland to Ed’s home in Colorado this Monday. I really like this color combo!
~Kim N. of Fairfield, California factory ordered from me his new Torch Red 2024 Z06 Convertible with Red/Black interior. We completed the paperwork via Fed Ex and this Monday Plycar trucking will load up his super car for the 3,000 mile trip West. Equipment: 3LZ, stealth interior, front lift, bright red calipers, black exhaust tips, satin graphite spider design wheels and more.
~ George H. of Randolph, New Jersey sold his 2017 Corvette this past October and today took delivery of a new Torch Red 2024 Corvette Convertible with black interior. Filling out his order is the 2LT pkg, front lift and Performance exhaust. George was looking forward to some top down driving as his previous Corvette was a Coupe.
~Mark S. of Pace, Florida ordered his c7 from me and today they took delivery at the Corvette Museum of their new C8 Red Mist metallic 2024 Corvette coupe with Natural/Black interior. The museum staff rolled out the red carpet on this glorious weather day. Equipment: 2LT, GT2 buckets, stealth interior, front lift, edge red calipers, performance exhaust, Stingray R appearance pkg, midnight gray wheels with red stripe and much more.
~ Melanie and Jeff D. of Lantana, Florida (and Annapolis, MD) were referred to me to order their new Arctic White 2024 Corvette Z51 convertible with Natural interior. Yesterday they took delivery at the Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, KY. The spec’d out a beauty, 2LT, front lift, engine appearance pkg, Z51 and much more. The red carpet was rolled out by the Museum staff and all their fellow Corvette club members watched on the museums web cam.
The photos are now supplied to me by Fotofx, a company that has been working within the Museum for the past 10+ years and now they have pkgs available for a truly special experience to be captured digitally. I recommend their process the next time you take delivery at the Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, KY!

The picture of the poor guy’s totaled C7 Z06 wasn’t a pretty sight. I also like the pic of the three C2’s lined up at the stoplight and the pic of the Corvettes lined up on both sides of the street at a car show.
Mike, Great photos, as always! The white ’63 Hertz ski Corvette was delivered new in Denver at Burt Chevrolet back in the day!
The highly customized ’57 Corvette (with twin spotlights) is very similar to a car I owned 25 years ago! Of course, mine was a bit worse for the wear..
