Owners of the new mid-engine Corvette – now in its fifth model year – won’t be surprised to find their favorite sports car atop the latest list of models they’d buy or lease again.

That’s right, Consumer Reports says a whopping 93 percent of surveyed 2024 Corvette owners would select the car again, according to a just-released ranking of the 10 most satisfying cars.

That figure puts the Chevy supercar in first place comfortably ahead of runners-up Rivian R1T and Mazda MX-5 Miata, both at 88 percent.

Others in the top 10 are Lexus NX PHEV at 87 percent, BMW X5 at 85 percent, Rivian R1S at 84 percent, Ford Maverick Hybrid at 83 percent, Kia Telluride at 82 percent, Honda Pilot at 82 percent, and Hyunda Ioniq 6 at 81 percent.

Each year, Consumer Reports surveys owners about their car purchases, and they provide “great insights” with the answer to one simple question: “If you had it to do all over again, would you definitely buy or lease the same model?”

The 2024 Corvette also earns the “Recommended” ranking by Consumer Reports.

  1. Consumer reports site is at the old Connecticut dragway site Colchester, Connecticut. Notice the pictured torch red corvette has Connecticut plates on it.

  2. Wish the dealers here would sell some C8s. They are burning up my home phone, cell phone, email, and mailbox trying to get me to buy one. Oh the worm turns. They don’t realize that I am happy with my 2019 Grand Sport M7 front engine car that is not built anymore.
