[SPIED] The C8 Corvette ZR1 Prototypes Testing in Colorado are Caught on Video

Over the weekend, a member of the Colorado Car Spotters page on Facebook shared a few pics of a group of C8 Corvette prototypes at a hotel in Golden, Colorado. We assume the engineering team was in the state for a round of high-altitude testing and we hoped that we’d see more of them.

Well, that wish came true as there is now a video of team as they are leaving another hotel parking lot.

In this sighting, we see three heavily camouflaged C8 Prototypes with just one having the high wing aero on it. All three have the quad-center exhaust and the license plates are the same as were spied on Saturday evening.

This group also has a Rapid Blue Corvette Z06 Convertible with the high wing aero package, but the Torch Red E-Ray or Export Z06 (as it had corner-mounted exhaust system) seen on Saturday wasn’t with this group at this time

We watched as the camera man captured each of the three prototypes driving away. We see one of the drivers is a female engineer but I didn’t recognize her. Each of the three cars was driven away under minimal acceleration and we wonder if that was to hide any additional engine enhancements that may be coming to the cars. You know, like twin turbos…
