2024 Corvette E-Ray Will Begin Shipping to Customers in Mid-October

Chevrolet sent out an update on Sunday about its collaboration with Turn 10 Studios and the inclusion of the 2024 Corvette E-Ray and the Cadillac V-series.R race car in the new Forza Motorsports video game. The two new vehicles not only made the game as playable content, but both will be featured on the game’s cover. Forza Motorsports will officially be released on October 10th, 2023 and according to Chevrolet, that’s just about when the first E-Rays will begin shipping to customers.

According to the release, Chevrolet and GM Racing gave Turn 10 Studios early access to renderings and information about the Cadillac and E-Ray approximately one year prior to each car’s public reveal. With the cars selected for the cover, Turn 10 Studios was provided even more info including detailed photography, real audio from the prototype vehicles and performance data from engineers.

“All of us at Turn 10 Studios are excited for players to experience the generational leap in fidelity, immersion and realism of ‘Forza Motorsport,’ the most technically advanced and authentic racing game we’ve ever made,” said Chris Esaki, Creative Director of Forza Motorsport at Turn 10 Studios. “We’re equally proud of our relationship with General Motors and can’t wait for fans to experience the stunning 2023 No.01 Cadillac Racing V-Series.R and 2024 Chevrolet Corvette E-Ray in-game when ‘Forza Motorsport’ launches on October 10.”

But the real news in this release for E-Ray buyers is confirmation that the 2024 Corvette E-Rays will most likely start production in September with the current Corvette Stingray and Z06s. Production of the 2024 Corvette models is expected to start on Tuesday, September 5th. Corvette’s Product Marketing Manager Harlan Charles confirms the delivery time frame:

“We are excited to see the first customer impressions of Corvette E-Ray both in real life and through ‘Forza Motorsport’ being shared at the same time,” said Harlan Charles, product marketing manager, Chevrolet Corvette. “While Corvette will always be America’s sports car, ‘Forza Motorsport’ is one way we continue to elevate awareness of what Corvette offers on the world stage.”

Chevrolet’s collaboration with Forza Motorsports goes back to 2005 when the game made its original debut, and vehicles from Chevrolet and Cadillac have been represented in every Forza Motorsport and Horizon games since.
