As we go to press, we see 22 Corvettes consigned to the Carlisle Spring Auction with examples representing seven of Corvette’s eight generations. The docket shows multiple listings from the C1 thru C6 eras, and we expect to see a few more added as we get closer to Spring Carlisle. Here is how the offerings break down:

Spring Carlisle Corvettes by Generation

The diverse docket offers some great drivers that caught our eye. We particularly like this Yellow 1959 Corvette Convertible as well as a just listed 1967 Corvette Sting Ray Convertible with a 427 big block. On the more recent end of the docket is Red/Black 2003 Corvette Coupe as well as a Yellow/Black 2006 Corvette Coupe.

Here are three auction showcase Corvettes offered at the Spring Carlisle Collector Car Auction that deserve a closer look.

1963 Corvette Split Window Coupe

1963 Corvette Split Window Coupe

Leading the pack is very desirable Riverside Red 1963 Corvette Split Window Coupe (Lot #501.1). Formerly part of the Tennessee’s Floyd Garrett Museum, this 1963 Corvette Sting Ray Sport Coupe would be the perfect centerpiece for any Corvette collection. The Corvette underwent a comprehensive rotisserie restoration and has since put on less than 500 miles.

This Red/Black Split Window is powered by the 327/340-hp V8 and mated to a 4-speed manual transmission. It features an off road side exhaust, whitewall tires with correct wheel covers, as well as an AM/FM radio.

1991 Corvette Convertible

1991 Corvette Convertible

For those looking for a car that needs nothing, this White 1991 Corvette Convertible (Lot #500.1) with a Red Leather interior and a White convertible top certainly fits the bill. It’s a two-owner car that’s always been garaged and with approximately 20K miles on the odometer, it shows very well.

The C4 Corvette is powered by the 5.7L V8 engine and a 6-speed manual transmission. The Convertible recently underwent a full service visit and where it received tires, a clutch and new sparkplugs. The air conditioning blows cold and it even has a modern Bluetooth stereo with the original radio included. Documentation includes the original window sticker, title, and more.

2014 Corvette Stingray Coupe

This Red over Black 2014 Corvette Stingray Coupe (Lot #504.1) will provide its next owner with many years of driving adventures. The 3LT trim package offers the highest level of options and luxury appointments including factory navigation and protective coating on the front.

This C7 Stingray Coupe is optioned with the rare 7-speed manual transmission and it features chrome wheels with Red-painted brake calipers. The Corvette has always been maintained by the dealer and it shows just 13,000 miles on the odometer. It comes with two key fobs, books, and a factory battery maintainer. The Carfax record is clean as well.
